Chapter 5

Ahe's P.O.V

I sat in my hut until it was late waiting for Moana, she probably got caught up. Being cheif takes alot of time or she might be down by the shore. Yeah, thats where I'll go she'll probably be there.

I got to the shore and she wasn't there so shes probably still busy. I started walking back to my hut when I thought I heard Moana I turned around and saw nothing. Then I heard another sound come from behind me. Then there were whispers coming from all around me I tried to run away but suddenly I couldn't feel my body. I tried yelling but no sound came out and then I couldnt see anymore.

"Whats happening?" I looked around but it was just like sitting in the stars with all sorts of colors around.
"You my good sir are trapped inside of your body" said one voice
"Yes, yes and theres nothing you can do about itttt." another chimed in.
"What do you want with my body?!" I yell out into the emptiness.
Thats when laughter very demonic deep laughter starts.
"Ohh its not your body we want it's just our vessel to get to Moana."
I gasped in anger"Don't you put a finger on her!"
"Hahahaaa and what are you going to do about it?"
Then there was silence.

Maui's P.O.V

"Moanaaaa" I heard that mans voice but I heard something beneath the voice. I could see the darkness hanging over the poor guy I cant believe I didnt see it earlier. He was possessed by a powerful demon.

"Moana dont go near him." I said gripping my fish hook tighter. "Maui what is wrong with him? He isn't acting like himself." she said I could hear the fear in her voice.

Ahe laughed a laugh that was very deep and demonic. "What do you want demon?" I asked staring it down.

"We want herrrr" it sounded sickening when it spoke. "More are comingg, for herrr. We just waaant a pieceee." Moana shivered and I moved so I stood infront of her.

"You will never have her!" I am furious now.

I could see a dark shadow creep across the ground my fish hook was glowing blue and brought it down on the shadow. I heard a screeching and the shadow disappeared. I looked to where the man was and he was gone.

I noticed Moana was alittle too quiet "Moana.." I turned around and she was on the floor.

"Moana!" I grabbed her shoulders yet her eyes stayed shut. She was still breathing but she wasn't responding.

Suddenly on her shoulder a red mark started at appear it looked like a tattoo but there was no ink. You could still see the design and it was my hook and Tefiti's heart it was very intricate. I ran my finger over it and it was very warm. What does this mean? What did that thing mean when it said more were coming?

"Maui.. " Moana whispered, her eyes opened and she looked exhausted "Maui what happened?" she sat up looking around. "Its gone, for now atleast..let's talk about it in the morning. Can you walk?" "I...I think" she said she sat up and as she tried to get up she nearly fell face first into the sand. "Here I've got this" I said and picked her up in my arms bridal style. "Maui! I can walk I'm fine!" she sounds irritated it's cute. "No your not princess." I say with a smile she just rolls her eyes.

It felt nice holding her I wish I could hold her forever.

Moana's P.O.V

It felt nice in Maui's arms but I could've walked if he had let me try. I could feel my heart beat harder and that odd feeling is more intense. What is this and what does it mean? Is it Maui is it because he is here? My mind wandered until I fell asleep in Maui's arms.
