Jade's Pov

"How are you feeling now?"

We were both at his garden now, enjoying the fresh air to help me sober up. Me on the swing, him casually leaning on the tree looking at me.

I swung a few more times playfully like a child. "Maybe I'm not sure." I giggled.

"I never knew that you were a bad drunk." He sighed, shaking his head dramatically. It must be tiring to watch over a 3 year old.

"You don't know me at all."

"True. That's why we should take this chance to get to know each other more." He stood in front of me to stop me from swinging. I looked up and glared at him, angry at him from stopping my fun time.

Ignoring me, he sat next to me, gently kicking the swing to a slow rhythm. "Let's play 20 questions. I'll go first. Hobby?"

"Reading, writing and singing I guess. All of my friends call me a nerd." I laughed. "I'm a really obsessed reader, introduce me to a good book and I'll read it until it finished or else I can't sleep."

"Really?" He chuckled "I never pictured you as the nerd type. What's your favorite genre?"

"Hey that's two questions already. It's my turn to ask." I nudged him playfully. "What about you? What's your hobby?"

"I like reading, love swimming and enjoy playing musical instruments. Now back to my turn, what's your favorite genre?"

"Teen Fiction and Romance." Embarrased I kept my head down, now he'll know how much of a teenage girl I sound like. Instead he look at me amused, as if he never met such a weird girl before. Quickly avoiding his gaze I changed the subject. "What kind of instruments do you play?"

"Piano sometimes the guitar. Depends on my mood." He was inching closer and closer to me as each minute pass. As weird as it sounded, I didn't mind. I welcome the warmth that his body radiate, his presence alone seems to make me happy.

As time passed, I felt my eye lids getting heavy. We were so close that I can hear Tyler's breath, I closed my eyes listening to the sound of his breathing and slowly allowed myself to fall asleep. His shoulders tensed a bit when I laid my head there but quickly relaxed himself. I soaked up the time, grateful that I got to spend time like this with him. "Why did you stop me from drinking just now?"

"Because I ---"

"Hey Guys! There you are! I was looking everywhere for you two!" I jumped at the sound of that voice, almost falling of the swing. Luckily Tyler managed to catch my waist on time.

"What do you want Dylan?" He huffed out annoyed. Quickly I got of the swing before anybody could get the wrong idea about us.

Dylan raised an eyebrow once he saw us, suspicion clear in his eyes. "We just finished setting up the big screen at the pool. Time for part two of the party. Horror movie time!"

That two words instantly sobered me up. Horror movie. The last time I tried to watch one with my friends I ended up sleeping with the lights on. No way am I ever watching another horror movie. Let alone watch it with a bunch of guys that I barely knew. Tyler stood up and left with Dylan leaving me behind alone sitting at the swing.

For a few minutes later I was left alone, I thought of leaving this party and head back home. It was getting cold, I wrapped my arms around myself to keep myself warm. Before I stood up, someone came up from behind me and put on a jacket around me. "Sorry I took so long. I went to get this jacket for you. It's getting cold out here." He smiled when I turned to look at him.

"It's fine." I handed the jacket back to him. "I'm leaving."

He looked stunned for a moment. "Why are you leaving? It's only 12. Are you not having fun?" He quickly stood in front of me to stop me from getting up to leave. Placing the jacket securely over me once again.
