Hey Guys! So basically, this story revolves around both of the sisters, Jade and Mabel. So there will be some switching of point of views to help you understand their story better. I hope you don't mind! Anyway, here's the second chapter. Enjoy!Mabel's Pov
"You did great sis! This is the first time I've seen you speaking in front of a crowd without fainting!" I hugged her once we got out of class. I'm really proud of her, she's finally stepping out of her comfort zone and trying new things!
"Yea..... I can't believe it too. It was terrifying! How can you do it so easily?" She rubbed her hands and shivered slightly. I just smiled back and hugged her again, giving her some comfort.
"Hey guys! Well done Jade and Mabel! Both of you totally nailed it! Best introduction ever! By the way, since we have 15 minutes to spare before our next class, let me show you your lockers." Bree jumped in, clapping her hands and told us.
I looked at Jade one more time to make sure she's okay. She just shrugged in response before getting dragged away by Bree again. Alyson was on my side, shaking her head slightly while laughing. "Wow, looks like our student body president is very friendly haha" I said laughing too.
"Yea...... She's really excited that both of you are transferring here. She's been talking about it for the whole week! I hope you don't mind ......" She gave me an apologetic smile.
"How can I mind when she's just being nice? Besides I really like the both of you, you guys make me feel like a part of this school already instead of a new girl with no friends." I nudged her, she smiled back in return and nudged me back.
While we were walking down the hallway, almost everyone stopped whatever they were doing and stared at us. It felt like my old school all over again when I walked through the hallways except that the feeling is so much more awkward. I mean, come on people! It's just two new girls walking down the hallway! It's not like we are aliens or celebrities! I really hate this kind of attention, which is why I refused to take the title of the Queen Bee back in our old school. What's the point of all of these? The popularity you will gain? No thank you. I would much rather be a normal girl who has true friends than be the most popular girl with a bunch of fake friends who befriends me for the sake of gaining more popularity. All of these are just plain stupid.
When Jade and Bree are walking down the hallway chatting like old friends, I noticed that a certain guy was staring at my sister. He looks very handsome with his brown hair and light blue eyes. He was standing with a few other good looking guys, no doubt they must be in one of the popular leagues. But i decided not to tell her since she won't even bother about it. You see, she's the kind of girl who is very beautiful but very quiet and shy. Although a lot of boys admired her back in our old school, she chooses to hide away; refusing to believe in any of them, saying that all of them are fake and nobody will ever like her. She wasn't like this before. She used to mix around a lot with other people, before she met this asshole of a jerk that kind of broke and changed her. After that, she turned into a student who cares for nothing except her studies, and only believes in fictional romances.
Halfway through, Alyson stopped and pointed to our lockers. "Here we are! Mabel, your locker number is 520 while yours is 522, Jade."
Damn! The lockers here are so much better than the lockers back in my old school. Its bigger and more spacious. Along the hallway, every locker is decorated in their own special way; well except for ours of course. Ours is just a plain old locker which looks out of places among the others. " Wow, thank you. This is one of the best lockers I have ever seen. Your school is so cool, don't you think Jade? These lockers are way bigger than our old ones."
