Click on the video above when you come to the part ;) I didn't choose the original because I think this fits how Tyler should sing it better. Hope you guy will enjoy it!

Jade's Pov

"Hey Katie did you see my sister?" It's weird. She wasn't in class and so was Tyler.

We were both walking to class although to me it was more like I was steering mindlessly my mind floating in a different direction. My mind just couldn't stop replaying what had happened just now. The pain still fresh in my heart which is not going away anytime soon. Funny how I already know that it's all too good to be true but Tyler gave me a simmer of hope where he then crushed it to pieces and burned it.

"Nope." She said not even bothering to look at me. Her head's buried in a book, studying for our upcoming literature test. Right now I really couldn't bother any less. I could fail for all I care. "Speaking of it I didn't see Tyler in class just now too. He never skipped a class. Wonder what's wrong."

Just by mentioning the name I felt like my heart was being cut again so I changed the subject. I really can't handle this well. "About the homecoming dance this Saturday, you going with anyone?"

"Yea I am." She chirps happily. "I'm going with Chase. You know one of Tyler's friend, we have history together. He asked me about a week ago. Can you imagine how shock I was when he asked me? I thought nobody would ask a nerd like me out. I barely even interact with any other guys in the school."

"Believe me. I know how you feel."

"I highly doubt so. Please you're going to the dance with the Tyler Henderson. You don't call that knowing even half to how I feel. Congratulations by the way!" She hugged me and squealed. "I'm so happy for you girl!"

My eyes widen at what she just said. "Where the hell did you hear that from?" The news couldn't have possibly spread that fast. Plus I don't even think we are going together anymore.

"Bree told me. More specifically she texted all of us." She passed me her phone, showing me the text.

She. Did. What? I snatched the phone away from her hand and paused midway at the hall.

"That's it. She's not going to see the living daylight anymore." I gritted my teeth.

"Come on shouldn't you be like over excited and happy about this? One of the school's more eligible guy asked you out to the dance. You do know how many girls would die to be in your place right?"

"Yes I do but it doesn't mean I need to be happy about it. You don't even know how it happened." I sighed, mentally exhausted from all that has happened today.

"Let me guess he didn't ask you the romantic way and instead was somehow pushed to do it?" She raised her eyebrows.

Damn she's smart. "How did you know?" I said in disbelief when she shrugged in return. "Bree sort of forced us to a position where we didn't even have the chance to say no. She basically threw us the job of performing during the dance. Then she mentioned that I didn't have a date and that Tyler should take me, and just like that he said yes. It wasn't even the official kind of thing, it's like he was given an order and carrying it out like a soldier." Sitting down in my seat when we finally arrived in English class, I buried my head in my arms.

"Oh... But he is still taking you to the dance right?" She took the seat in front of me and then turned back to talk to me. Mabel was still nowhere to be seen in the class.
