I've held the weight on my shoulders

But without a touch

I've seen the horrors

But never felt

Glass shatters around me

But never draws blood

I've seen tears fall

But never have they touched my hand

I've seen her bleed

I've seen her cry

I've been witness to her pain

But only can I bleed for her

Never touch

Never feel

Never take the pain away
