*Hermiones POV*

When I woke up this morning I knew that things were going to be bad, however I never expected this. I never expected to be sitting on the stone floor of the place that I once considered my home, holding the hand of not only the love of my life one Fred Weasely, but the hand of one of my best friends Ron. Tears stained my face and continued to slowly roll, I sniffled before leaning down and placing a small kiss on Fred's lips before kissing Ron's cheek and standing up. I sighed looking at Harry and Ginny giving them a small smile before walking out the front door and across the rubble filled bridge.

"Hermione, Hermione wait."

I turned around to see Miss. Weasely running towards me. I gave her a confused look as she reached me and tried to catch her breath.

"Are you alright Miss. Weasely?"

She nodded her head, standing up straight and looking at me with sad eyes.

"Would you like to come and stay with us, we're rebuilding the burrow starting tomorrow. I would like you to be there, please, maybe when it's all done, you can move in if you wish."

I smiled, nodding my head.

"Alright, thanks Miss. Weasely."

"Anytime dear, although I think that after all these years and all we've been through I think that's it's time for you to call me Molly."

I smiled.

"Thank you Molly."

She smiled wrapping her arm around my shoulder leading me back towards the castle, I sighed hugging Minerva. She smiled at me and we talked for a moment before she offered me a job As transfiguration professor when the castle was rebuilt. I smiled and nodded my head telling her that I would think about it, but I couldn't make any promises right now. I told her that when I was at a more stable and permanent home I would write her, but until then I just needed some space. She nodded her head understanding why, she gave me another hug apologizing for my loss. I gave her a small sad smile before walking to meet up with Molly and the rest of the Weasely clan. We all helped bury the ones we lost before shooting the sparks into the air with tears still sliding down my face. I looked at Molly wrapping my arms around her, everyone else came around us lacing hands apparating to what was left of the burrow. I set up the tent that Harry, Ron, and I had used while we were hunting horcruxes and set up cots for everyone. It was a tight fit with all of us, but with Harry, Ginny, Molly, and Arthur sharing a cot there was enough room for all of us. George and I didn't sleep much, too sad to sleep, so we sat out under the stars and held eachother while we cried. When we stopped crying we sighed looking up at the stars, I shook my head before looking at George.

"Do you think things will ever be as they were before?"

He sighed, shaking his head.

"I won't be the same, but maybe someday things will get easier..."

He looked at me with a small sad smile.

"Maybe someday I'll be able to joke and laugh again, but right now things are just gunna be sad."

"I know, I get it, I miss him too, ya know I always thought that Fred and I would get married, have a few kids. I thought that Ron would be there, and he'd be happy for us, he'd marry Lavender, things would be different."

He sighed wrapping his arm around my shoulder hugging me to his side.

"Oh, they're different alright, just not the kind of different that any of us expected."

I sighed laying my head on his shoulders as sleep slowly took me under the light of saddened stars.
