*Hermiones' POV*

As Ginny and I walked through the ministry with our knee high boots clicking against the hard floors. We walked into Kingsleys office, I placed my hand on my hips, my small baby bump prominant through my tight black long sleeve shirt. Kingsley looked at us shaking his head letting out a sigh as he sat back in his chair clearing his throat.

"Do you have any clue as to where my husband is?"

"Mrs. Black please understand the stress that I am under, along with your husband I have countless other men and women missing along with Mr..."

Just then Ginny walked in cutting him off.

"Mr, who, Potter perhaps? Now I was being nice by letting Hermione come in here first, however that's gone now. We know where they are, we know where the death eaters have them. However since the war it's been blocked off, so we need you to help us get in."

"Mrs. Black, Mrs. Potter, where exactly do you think my missing aurors are?"

"Well my husband and bestfriend are chained up in the dungeon of Malfoy manor."

"Well that's quite the idea, however I can't allow that, you are asking me to grant you permission into a home that has been condemned due to it's history with the Dark Lord."

To say the least I was fucking pissed.

"Fine, then when we bring back the missing aurors and our husbands we demand a full pardon for our transgressions against the ministry due to the fact that we came to you first. Have a nice day Kingsley, oh and if Sirius and I lose this baby because of your lack of trust and judgment I'll spend the rest of my life in Azkaban because I'll kill you if Sirius doesn't."

Ginny and I walked out of the Ministry using the floo to Malfoy Manor to save our husbands. When we appeared in front of the locked gates I used my wand to unlock it, we walked to the front door and once again I used my wand to unlock the door. We walked into the manor and were instantly under unwanted fire, I pushed Ginny back and she shook her head.

"What?"

"Why are you protecting me? You're the pregnant one this should be the other way around."

"Sorry, Force of habit, I was always quicker than Ron, so I usually push the red head behind me."

She chuckled and I saw a row of wands, I instantly knew that they were the aurors, I also saw Sirius and Harrys' wand amongst them. I sighed letting out a sharp breath before going to move, however I was stopped when Ginny grabbed my arm pulling me back. When my eyes met her Weasely blues that held worry and confusion, she shook her head at me.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"I think I'm grabbing those wands and making a break for the dungeon. You can either come with me and risk everything we've come here to do, or you can stay here and watch my back."

She sighed before nodding her head and giving me a small smile.

"Go."

I smiled and she shot cover fire as I ran across the doorway grabbing the wands. I ran down the hall and down the stairs into the dungeon. I unlocked the door and saw all the aurors hanging from the ceiling with shackles around their wrists. I went around helping them before calling different houselves from Hogwarts to take them to Poppy and get them some help. However as I looked around I couldn't find Harry, and sure as hell didn't see Sirius, as I helped the last auror down he looked at me. His eyes were weak, I knew then that he was one the very first ones brought here, when he spoke his voice was weak.

"The death eaters took them to a different room, they knew you were coming."

"Alright, that's alright, I'll find them, let's get you to Hogwarts."

I called a house elf, and got him out of the manor before going upstairs to see Ginny being held with a wand to her throat. I looked to the side to see Harry and Sirius who looked beaten and weak, I let out a deep jagged breath.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here, we have the chosen one, his know-it-all, his wife, and his godfather, what are the odds."

I turned around coming face to face with Draco Malfoy.

"Draco you son of a bitch, I should've known this was your doing."

"Well, after you and your friends took my family away I had nothing left other than to slip into the ways of my father. However now I see that you are quite pregnant with a Black nonetheless, how does it feel knowing your child isn't going to make it out of your womb?"

I shook my head.

"You wouldn't hurt me."

"On the contrary you filthy little mudblood, I would, however I would never hurt a child. So I have a question for you, is it true that when you bond with someone as you and Sirius have, what happens to one happens to the other?"

I knew then that he wasn't going to physically hurt me, no, he was going to hurt Sirius and watch me suffer. I stood there and watched as he pulled his fathers blade from his cane and walked towards Sirius. I felt tears pooling in my eyes and knew that I couldn't let him do this, I couldn't let Sirius be hurt like this again.

"Wait."

He turned and looked at me with a sadistic smirk on his face.

"Why should I?"

"Hurt me, torture me, not him, not anymore, if you want him to suffer make him watch, make him watch me get hurt."

He smirked.

"You see I don't want him to suffer, I want you to suffer, you see he wasn't at the final battle. He didn't see my father, he didn't see my mother, you did, you were there every step of the way. You were there from the moment you walked into Hogwarts, to that very last day. Watching him suffer is the greatest pain I could ever bestow apon you, and hearing your cries for me stop is all I have been waiting to hear."

He took my arm in his hand pushing up my sleeve revealing the scar his aunt had left on me years ago. I knew exactly what he was going to do, so I took a deep breath and looked away as he continued the job that his aunt had begun. I felt the sharp blade against my skin and listened as Sirius screamed and cursed, tears slid down my face and I looked away. When the blade left my arm and Draco let me go I fell to the floor before looking at Sirius watching as Dracos' fist met his gut over and over. After the first hit I instantly felt the life that I held within me being ripped from my womb along with a pain I never thought I would feel again, a broken heart. I looked down to see blood pooling around my lower half and as I began to feel weak I heard a pop. I knew then that help was here and before everything went black was in Sirius' arms being lifted from the ground. The last thing I saw was the bright white of the hospital in Hogwarts along with the sight of Poppy, and the last thing I heard was Sirius saying my name.

*Sirius' POV*

As I watched Draco trace over the jagged fucked up word on Hermiones arm. All I could do was scream and cuss, pray with everything that was in me that he would stop. However when he did I knew Hermione was weak, and that any blow I take could mean life or death for not only her, but our baby as well. He walked to me and the first thing he did was connect his fist with my gut. I watched Hermione cry as blood began to pool between her legs. It was then that my prayers were answered, the death eaters were taken into custody. I rushed to Hermione, quickly lifting her from the ground and apparating us to Hogwarts. I knew that apparition is dangerous for the baby, however while I love this baby with everything I am, but I love my wife. She and I could have a lifetime of love together if I get her stable soon. I love Hermione, and I love this baby, but I won't lose Hermione, I won't lose my life, granted we'd all be together but if she goes I don't know if I can handle that kind of pain before we're together. I watched as Poppy went to work and all I flet was pain and weakness, I knew that it was coming from Hermione. I let out a small breath before the room started to spin, I knew that this was it unless she and I wake up tomorrow, even if we do the life we had yesterday might not be the life we have tomorrow. With that everything went black and the last thing I heard was Harry calling my name, all I could do was hope for a tomorrow.
