Christmas Morning, Party's, Christmas Engagements

*Hermiones POV*

I woke up today to the Weaselys banging on Sirius and I's door, I sighed rolling over waking up Sirius. He sighed before looking at the door shaking his head, I smiled rolling out of bed grabbing my sweater before opening the door. The knocking stopped and I looked at everyone shaking my head, they gave me a worried wide eyes look.

"Good morning, now Sirius and I will be down when we've showered and are dressed alright?"

They all sighed, nodding their head before going downstairs for breakfast. I saw Molly sitting on the couch in my library talking to Charlie. I walked over and Molly looked up giving me small sad smile before kissing his forehead, she gave me a hug before walking downstairs. Charlie stood up giving me a small smile before following his mom. I went back to my room closing the door behind me, I went through my bag hearing my shower going. I laid out my clothes before joining Sirius under the scalding hot water. Sirius turned around giving me a mischievous smile, I smirked wrapping my arms around his neck while his hands traveled down to the back of my thighs. He lifted me from the ground and I felt him slip into me a moan rolling off my lips. I lifted myself up and down his shaft while his lips traced kisses up and down my neck between my breasts and back to my mouth swallowing my moans. I soon felt myself tighten around him and he nipped at my collarbone, I felt myself release and he released within me. The both of us letting out one final moan as he leaned his head in my neck. I rested mine in his, I pulled away before lifting myself from him. My feet touched the ground and I walked under the water finishing my shower before getting out. I wrapped towels around my hair and body before grabbing my wand and blow drying my hair, before putting the towel back up so Sirius could use it. I walked out of the room pulling on a pair of black leggings with a greenish gray sweater, cream colored scarf and leg warmers with greenish gray uggs. I put my earrings in along with my necklace before doing my usual make-up routine. I looked in the mirror before Sirius came over giving me a hug before kissing my cheek and getting dressed. I walked downstairs joining everyone in the kitchen taking my seat next to Harry and across from Charlie. Sirius soon joined us giving me a kiss before sitting next to me, I smiled and we all sat there eating and laughing. When breakfast was finished we all went to the living room. I watched as the couples sat on each others laps while Charlie and Percy sat alone. I went to sit next to Sirius but he lightly pulled me into his lap. I looked at him and shook my head while he smirked at me. I smiled giving him a small kiss before trying to move off off his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist holding me tight, I looked at him shaking my head while he gave new confused look before shaking his head.

"What's wrong luv?"

"Nothing, Insult, think that here you and I should keep the couple things to a minimum."

He sighed and Molly chuckled, shaking her head.

"Oh, no worries dear, you and Sirius are just fine, besides there aren't many places to sit in this room."

I gave her a small smile nodding my head.

"Alright."

I gave Sirius a small smile and he kissed my cheek as George gave out the gifts. I opened the sweater from Arthur and Molly, as did Sirius. He and I sat there knowing that those were our only gifts for the day when everyone was done we all went our separate ways. Sirius and I went upstairs to take a nap, I removed my uggs, leg warmers, and scarf before crawling into bed. Sirius soon joined me pulling me into his chest holding me close. We fell asleep knowing that when we wake up we'll have to change into nicer clothes for the Christmas party.

*Sirius' POV*

After we opened presents as a family Hermione and I went upstairs to take a nap. I wrapped my arms around her holding her close knowing that I didn't want her to be anywhere else. I love her, and that's why tonight I plan on making what we have last forever. Tonight's the night that I ask her to become Mrs. Hermione Jean Black. With those final thoughts I let myself fall into a calm sleep hoping my nerves would dissipate before tonight. I was woken up by Hermione rolling over in my hold, my eyes opened and met her bright caramel ones causing a smile to appear on my face.

"Hi."

She smiled letting out a small giggle.

"Hi."

"You sleep well?"

She nodded her head before looking at the clock letting out a small sigh.

"We have to get up."

I sighed nodding my head letting her leave me feeling cold. I got out of bed pulling on a pair of light wash jeans, a gray long sleeve button up shirt, a silver tie, and a dark gray vest with my steel toe boots. I kissed Hermiones cheek leaving her to do her things, I acciod the ring through the floo. Everyone came over to look at it, Molly pulled me into a hug, and Harry patted my back saying congrats. I slipped the ring into my vest pocket and turned to see Hermione standing at the bottom of the stairs. She looked amazing, she had her hair in a side braid out of her face, her make-up was done in it's usual light way. She was wearing a long sleeve burgundy dress that goes right above her knees with knee high boots that went right below her knees. As she walked towards me with a smile on her face her eyes flickered to Charlie who was staring just as I. I know he still loves her, and I know that he always will, but this is happening, I love her, and she loves me that's all there is to it. I was pulled from my thoughts by a hand taking mine in there's, I looked at Hermione to see her right smile. I knew that if everyday for the rest of my life had at least one of those smiles my life would be perfect.

"Are you alright Sirius?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, are you alright?"

She giggled nodding her head.

"Yeah, never better."

I smiled seeing her wearing the jewelry I got her, the jewelry that's still missing a piece. I signed as we went and joined the others at the table for dinner. We sat there laughing and talking, once everyone was done eating and we were just having a few drinks, I stood up. Everyone looked at me with smiles on their faces knowing what I was about to do. Hermione gave me a confused look and Charlie well he looked pissed and sad which is understandable but still. I sighed, getting down on one knee getting the ring from my vest pocket taking Hermiones hand in mine. She looked at me wide eyed and that's when I started to get nervous all over again, however I couldn't stop now.

"Hermione, I know I haven't been back for very long, and I know that we have our differences, but one thing's for sure I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to wake up seeing your smile. I want to fall asleep with you in my arms knowing that you're safe and no one is ever going to take you from me. I love you with every ounce of my being and I don't know what I would do without you. So with that Hermione Jean Granger would you do me the honor in becoming my wife and my bond?"

She smiled at me before nodding her head.

"Yes, I would love to make you my husband, and my bond."

I laughed a bit standing up slipping the ring onto her finger, she wrapped her arms around my neck. I lifted her into a hug holding her close knowing that this is exactly how it was always meant to be. When we pulled away I gave her a small kiss as everyone whistled, I sat down pulling her onto my lap. She kissed my cheek and the rest of the night went on perfectly, aside from one thing the feel of Charlie's eyes

*Hermiones POV*

After I said yes to Sirius' proposal I knew that problems were going to start with Charlie, but it's his choice to stay. I love Sirius, and I told him last night that that love isn't going anywhere, he needs to let me go. At the end of the night Sirius and I went upstairs changing our clothes and crawling into bed. It was then that I got a chance to look at my ring, it was the missing piece to my silver Christmas set. It was so gorgeous it was hard for me to explain with a simple silver band holding a few diamonds to the ones out lining the bigger one in the middle. It was a stunning piece of jewelry, however until now I didn't even notice the ring, that's not, and it never will be why I said yes. I love Sirius, and that's all there is to it, that's all there will ever be.
