My stomach was in knots when I saw Beth standing at her locker. She was wearing a dress that fell loosely below her knees that made my legs wobble as I walked towards her
"Hey"
She turned her blond head and smiled at me, then she leaned into me and I felt her soft lips touch mine
"Hey" she said, smiling.
My breathing began to become in steady and I could feel my palms get sweaty
"Beth" I said, slowly.
"I want to take you out on a real date tomorrow night. And then after that I am going to ask you if you want to be my girlfriend"
I didn't dare look at her face, but I felt her hand pick up mine
"You know, you could just ask me right now and I will say yes. Then we can go on a real tomorrow as a real couple"
I looked up surprisingly
"Really?"
I giggle escaped her soft pink lips
"Yea! I had a lot of fun last night!"
I felt my face get hot with embarrassment, remembering what we did last night
"Me too. So, I'll see you tomorrow I guess?"
"Pick me up at 8" she said, her green eyes shiny and soft
"Ok, I'll see you then"
She turned around and walked away from me
I smiled and leaned against her cold locker, smiling to myself
