POV: Elemental Council Chambers - Tuesday, two weeks later
The elders sit around the room and look towards the couple standing in front of them
"You are telling us that your daughter has multiple gifts and has mastered them in a week?"
"That's rubbish, unheard of before, no-one has done that"
" Sir, my daughter is scared and needs your support, how can we help her understand her gifts"
The elders exchange glances and looked back at the couple
"We will need to meet you daughter and see for ourselves, this cannot be discussed outside the council , bring her to us on Friday"
The couple bowed their heads and left the room to the murmur of the elders discussing Cammie between themselves, fleeting words were heard as they left.
"Dangerous", "fated", "studied"
The couple clasped hands and turned back to the council saying "you will not hurt or lock up our daughter, she is not dangerous" and then started praying to the Elements to help them protect their daughter.
