Gaster and Alphys have been worried out of their minds. You haven't shown up for work in almost a month. Gaster knew you loved your work, mainly your research on soul changing abilities. So, Gaster decided to pay the babysitter extra so he could go to your house after work.

Well, Gaster was having a hard time focusing on his work with all this thought of if you were ok or not lodged into his skull. Alphys noticed when Gaster was just sitting at his desk and staring at his notepad. "G..Gaster, are you o..ok?" Alphys asked with concern.

"I'm fine Alphys. I just miss (y/n)." Gaster answered without even looking at the yellow lizard monster. Alphys sighed and walked away. Alphys has shipped you both and Asgore himself approved it. You both loved science and took things very seriously.

Gaster picked up his phone and unlocked it before opening his photos up and tapping of the one that Alphys took when you both fell asleep. You were laying against Gaster's chest as Gaster had his arms around you. Gaster did tell Alphys he deleted it, but he never did. He never felt so close to you, ever.

Gaster looked at the time and sighed. He minus well get some work done. Gaster was about to write in his notepad when he placed his pencil down. He just wanted to know if you were ok. "Gaster," Gaster turned to see Alphys holding his coat, "I'll cover you, if you want." Alphys offered, Gaster smiled and accepted his coat.

"Thank you Alphys. I owe you for real." Gaster said as he got his coat on. Alphys snickered and nodded before Gaster teleported to (fav/area). Gaster saw that your garden hasn't been attended, he quickly used his blue magic to pick the weeds and water the plants.

Gaster then walked up your porch and knocked on your front door. No answer... wait! Gaster heard somebody coming down the stairs! Then he heard someone falling and something breaking. "(Y/n)!" Gaster teleported in and saw you shaking on the ground and a vase broken. Gaster knelt to the ground and lifted you onto his lap. You were still shaking and breathing at an uneasy state.

"(Y/n)... what happened to you?" Gaster asked himself as he carried you upstairs, he laid you on your bed and checked your health. It was 45/80. Gaster lifted you up again and teleported to the lab. Alphys wasn't there as Gaster laid you on examination table. He noticed your legs were swelled up and shaking. Gaster's hands turned purple before he started to heal you.

It took a few minutes, but soon your legs stopped swelling and shaking as you woke up. Gaster helped you sit up and face him as your ears and tail twitched. "G..gaster?" Gaster smiled as he hugged you and pressed his forehead against yours gently. You blushed at the sudden affection, but allowed it to pass.

The hug lasted a few minutes before Gaster's eyes met yours. "Please call me when you're sick again. You scared me." You nodded before Gaster curled his finger under your chin and lifted it up slightly. "Do you know that Alphys ships us?" Gaster asked as a light purple gathered on his face.

"S..she does?!" Gaster nodded as he leaned in slightly. "I'll admit, I approve it." That's when Gaster kissed you, you blushed before kissing back and feeling your tail starting to wag. You felt Gaster's hand laying on yours before you pulled away from the kiss.

"I love you (y/n)." "I love you too, Gaster." Gaster helped you down before wrapping his arms around you. You wrapped your arms around him as well before Gaster started to pet your ear. Alphys walked in as Gaster kissed the top of your (h/c) head. "O..oh my god," you both looked at Alphys with blushes on your faces, "my o..otp just s..sailed!
