HEY GUYS! It's Zoey! This is my first chapter and I have to tell you something... Emily is in the hospital for the next day. She tried to ride her bike in the pouring rain to reach my house. She came cuz her stepmom is leaving her. So... yeah... I'm sorry.

Emily opened a portal to the void as her ears and tail hung low. She stepped through the portal to see the darkness. There were dark bags under her eyes as she teleported into the house. Her left ear twitched to the sound of Swap in the kitchen.

Emily walked in and knocked on the wall, with the little energy she had. Swap looked over to see the sad hybrid. "Emily?" Swap turned off the water and dried his hands off before walking over to her. "What are you doing here? I thought you were-" Before Swap could even finish, Emily threw her arms around him and sobbed into his chest.

Swap blushed lightly before wrapping his arms around her. Emily was a strong, smart, responsible, and very beautiful hybrid. Swap petted her ear as he tried to calm her down. "Emily, what happened?" "B..be..becca... i..is..."

Swap sighed and hugged her tighter. Swap knew about her family problems, he also knew she had her hopes up until she heard her dad and stepmom talking in the kitchen. "It's ok. You don't have to tell me." Swap said as Emily just started to whimper like a puppy.

"S..swap," Emily looked up at him, Swap's blush deepened since Emily's green eyes were glowing dimly, "is it o..ok that I sleep o..on your couch for a few days?" Swap nodded and rubbed Emily's back gently. Fell walked by to see this. "For God's sake, just kiss."

Swap and Emily blushed before Fell left. "I'm gonna really hurt him one of these days..." Swap growled before Emily leaned up and kissed his cheekbone. Swap's blush couldn't get any darker as Emily blushed bright green and dark purple. Emily hid her face in Swap's chest before he chuckled. Swap started to pet her ears as her tail slowly wagged.
