You were sitting in a moldy cardboard box. You sniffled and covered your muzzle with your green paws. It wasn't your fault your trainer abandoned you. Your trainer even called you 'ugly' and 'a disgrace'. You closed your eyes and whimpered until you heard footsteps. You hid quickly until a pair of feet stopped in front of the box.
- Gaster's POV -
I was walking towards my lab when I heard crying. I looked down to see something sticking out from a moldy box. I slowly walked over to see it disappear. I stopped in front of the box to hear whimpering.
I slowly knelt down to see a poor shiny Espeon. I could see it's ribs and the clear signs of this pokemon being abandoned. "It's alright. I'm not going to hurt you." I said slowly as I lowered my hand. The Espeon slowly walked out and sniffed my hand. I rose my hand and petted it's ear.
I smiled as the poor creature purred and nuzzled my hand. I carefully wrapped my arms under the pokemon and lifted it up. The pokemon squeaked until I gently petted them. They seemed to be calm. "Now to get you healed and fed."
I made a quick trot to my lab and placed the pokemon on the table. They sat down patiently as I got them a bowl of food. As soon as I placed the bowl down, they immediately ate the food and didn't leave a crumb wasted.
I slowly petted them to help them get used to me. "You are very special." The Espeon looked up and showed me their watery eyes. They walked over and nuzzled their way under my chin. I smiled softly and petted them gently as I held them close. They seem to trust me at this point.
