Bitty! B x Lonely! Child! Reader

Your parents were always busy. Bills this, bills that, do this, do that. You would often sit by yourself and write or draw. Today your parents decided you needed a friend (HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO NOTICE!?!) and went to buy you a 'bitty'. You came home from a terrible day at school to see a green box and two notes.

You decided to read your parents' note first.

Dear (y/n), we are sorry we can't spend so much time with you.

Since you been having good grades and been so flexible, we bought you a 'bitty'.

We're pretty sure his name is 'B'.

Your eyes widened a bit before you turned to the green box. You carefully lifted the lid to see a small and green skeleton. You looked at the bigger note. You glanced over it to see that B was blind and hated light.

You gently picked B up and had one hand over him, to block out the light, before walking to your room. You dimmed the lights a little and placed him on your desk. "Wait RIIIIGHT here, ok?" You said before seeing B nod. You rushed out and grabbed an empty fish tank.

You came back and petted B to let him know your back. B hugged your finger as you snickered. You picked B up with one hand before finding a hand towel and wrapping him in that. B snuggled into the towel as you tore and clipped out the wires of the fish tank.

You had a few bandages on your hands since the wires bit you a little. You had gotten done making the inside of the fish tank comfortable before picking B up and placing him in the tank. B stayed asleep as you smiled.

You had a new friend.
