Swap x Best friend! Wolf Monster! Reader

You were bobbing your head happily to the music you hummed as you walked into the kitchen. "Heya Sw-" You looked around and saw Swap wasn't in the kitchen. "Swap? You here?" You say before trotting out of the kitchen. You scratched behind your ear as you huffed in confusion.

You tapped your chin as your tail slowly swayed. "Oh. Wait." You realized Swap didn't leave his room yet. You trotted to his room, knowing B was in the living room, before hearing crying. You stood at the door for a few minutes as your ears dropped and tail sagged.

"Swap..?" You called out as you slowly opened the door. Swap was sitting on his bed, crying, before he looked at you. "(Y..y/n..n)?" You nodded before closing the door behind you and sitting next to him. "Swap, are you ok?" You asked as your tail wrapped behind him.

"I...I'm f..fine..." Swap whimpered, you gave him a concerned look for three main reasons. One, he was lying to you. Two, he looks like he had been crying for hours. Three, he was usually... happy. "Swap," you placed both your paws on his cheekbones and turned him to you, "please don't lie to me. Tell me what's wrong."

Swap was blushing lightly from your touch before he started crying again. Your soul ached to see him like this. You sat on your knees and hugged Swap as he cried into your shoulder. "I... I'm sorry..."

You perked at his voice as your ears perked towards his sorrow sound. "I know you want to see me smile! But... is it ok to cry too?" Swap asked after he calmed himself a bit. You squeezed Swap as tears rolled down your furry face. You knew that question. You asked it before.

~ Flash back time ~

You were hugging yourself as Swap hugged you. Your parents were arguing with Swap's parents since you both had... kissed on accident. "I'm s..sorry S..Swap!" You cried as your fur poofed up. Swap looked at you as tears streamed from your eyes.

"I..I know you want to see me s..smile, b..but is it o..ok to c..cry..?" You asked. Swap knew what you meant by 'smile'. You meant to be happy with him. "Of course it's ok to cry." Swap answered as he turned your head to face him.

"People may not want to see you cry, but it's ok to cry."

You and Swap inched closer until you both kissed for real. Your fur couldn't stop the blush that was showing as Swap blushed. You both pulled away from your real first kiss and smiled.

~ Flash back end ~

You pulled away from the hug and wiped Swap's tears away. You knew that he meant what he said. You knew he felt like he had to happy for everyone. "Swap," Swap's sockets widened to how you smiled, it wad just like you were kids, "it's ok."

You kissed Swap's forehead before hugging him again. "It's ok to cry. 'People may not want to see you cry, but it's ok to cry'." Swap pulled away and looked at you with shock as you smiled. "You... still remember that day?" Swap asked as he blushed. "Yeah." You replied.

Swap smiled before you hugged him with your tail wagging. "If you need a break on being happy, we can take shifts." Swap chuckled before he wrapped his arms around you. "I..I love you (y/n)." Swap whispered, you blushed and smiled more before saying "I love you too, Swap."
