During the break on Julie's show, Jayda and I were ushered over to the stage, and were given bigger microphones that were connected to stands. It seemed perfect. That is until I looked up and saw the audience watching us. Jayda saw my look of worry and gave my elbow a small squeeze, "Don't worry about it. You're gonna do great. Just like you always do."
I gave her a smile back and we adjusted our microphones one last time just as the cameras came back on and it zoomed in on Julie.
"Here is Ellie Keddington and Jayda Dargo, singing their new twist on the song 'What Make's You Beautiful' by One Direction."
The camera's all focused in on us, the music starting. Luckily for us, we have a version of the song that cut out One Direction's voices, leaving room just for our own.
I took a deep breath and got ready to sing the first lyrics.

Finally at the chorus, Jayda came in and harmonized with me. I glanced at her and she smiled back at me and I got into the song. This is when I felt like I could rule the world.

This time around, I pulled my microphone to my lap and tapped the beat on my leg, swaying back and forth to the beat, a grin on my face.
Jayda started her solo:
