~ Chapter 17 - Reunited With A Surprise ~*

After the boys had left, I had fallen back asleep, tired. And I knew by the time the boys got back, they'd be bombarding me with questions, apologies, and who knows what.

When I woke back up again, they still weren't back, but Jayda was still next to me, on her iPhone.

"Hey," I said, reached over to nudge her arm.

She looked up, "Hey, yourself!"

I smiled and sat myself up. I looked over at her screen, "Who are ya texting?"

"Liam."

"Oh?" I teased. "Did something happen while I was in the world of All People in Comas'?"

"No!" She said, blushing.

"Jaydaaaa," I dragged, "I know when you're lying."

She layed her phone down and looked at me. "Okay, okay, something did happen. Well, kinda. When Liam called me when you guys were headed to the hospital, he called me 'love' and 'babe."

I started dying and she blushed.

"What?"

I sucked in a few breaths, "Its...just that....well...Jayda! 'Love' and 'Babe' are just words they use! It doesn't mean anything happened. It's just me calling you 'Jayda' or 'Jayjay' or something. It's just a nickname."

"Psh," she said, turning away, "I don't care. He still called me 'babe'."

I laughed, "Think what you want." I looked around the room again and finally looked back at Jayda who had picked up her phone again.

"Do you think you could help me into the shower over there?" I asked, nodding towards the full bathroom that was attached to the room. Just then I realized what a nice room I had. Do they really make hospital rooms this nice? Apparently so.

"But the nurse, Becky, or whatever her name is, said not too. You could slip."

"It's Beth. And I think I can take a short shower without hurting myself. I've been taking them since I was like, seven, or how ever old I was."

She bit her lip and glanced at the door. "Fine. But if you fall, I'm not going to be blamed. I'm just gonna tell Miss Beth that the boys did it. I think they'd get a kick out of getting throw out of a hospital."

A good twenty minutes later, I was out of the shower, clean, and lucky for the boys, I hadn't fallen.

I was pulling on a pair of grey yoga pants that Jayda had brought from home. Jayda being Jayda, knew I was going to die if I was wearing the hospital gowns any longer, brought a change of clothes when she first came to the hospital for when I woke up.

After that, I put on a deep purple ribbed tank top. The hospital was kept very warm. It was kinda weird. After changing, I threw my hair up into a ponytail and my bangs slipped out, making me glare at my reflection in the mirror.

I walked back out into the main part of the room where Jayda was still sitting, texting. I'm gonna guess it was Liam. I took a seat in one of the five chairs that were in here. For the boys I suppose. I leaned back into the cushion and looked over at Jayda who was entranced by her phone.

"You who!"

Her head shot up, "Huh?" 

I giggled, "Since I'm guessing you're texting Liam, why aren't the boys back yet. It's been close to what, four hours?"

She nodded. "Yeah. According to Liam, Louis had fallen asleep while waiting for an open shower and he just woke up a little bit ago. He said they'd be here any minute." Ding. Her phone went off and she looked down. "And they have a surprise for the both of us?" She looked up at me. "What does that mean?"
