"Ellie?" asked a relieved voice.
"Yes, Harry, now stop acting so surprised before I hang up on you," I growl into the phone, Jayda sitting next to me, staring intently. I roll my eyes and put the phone on speaker phone, putting my finger to my lips to make Jayda stay quiet. She nodded, understanding.
"Um, uh, yeah."
"Harry. Talk. Now."
"Oh, um, of course. It's just that I wanted to say sorry for earlier..."
I groan, "That is pathetic Harry. Very pathetic."
"W-what?" his voice faltered.
"It's pathetic that after all you did today and then lock yourself in your room - yes I know, the boys have been texting me too - all you have to say for yourself is 'sorry'?"
"I, um, yeah..."
"God, Harry you are some stuck up guy who can't even apologize. I don't know how you are ever going to get a girlfriend. I truely don't even know how you managed to get and keep Caroline Flack," I snapped.
Beside me Jayda gasped and I shushed her.
"Don't you dare bring Caroline into this!"
I snickered, "Oh, so the boy can stop stuttering. I thought it was just a thing. And you know what the best part is? Well the best part is that you stopped stuttering when I brought up Caroline. You know what I think? I think you still love her. Even if she is twice your age."
Silence.
When he didn't respond, and the adrenaline rushed out of me, my face fell, realizing what I just said. "Harry, dammit, I didn't mean that. I-"
He cut me off, "I'm pretty sure I know what you meant Ellie." Click.
I stared off into space, my hand still holding my phone out in front of Jayda and I.
"What. Did. You. Just. Do?" She asked, in shock.
"I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure I went a little over board..."
"You think! El, you just owned Harry Styles twice, TWICE, in a twenty - four hour time frame."
I covered my face in my hands, "I know."
"And where did that side of you come from? I mean, normally you're quiet and shy around strangers, Harry being considered one since we only met him a few days ago. And then today, you act like you've known him for years and knew his weak point. Which you did hit by the way," Jayda pointed out.
"Well thanks, I feel honored," I said sarcastically.
We sat in silence for the next few minutes and finally I stood up and started walking down the hall.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"Out. There's something I need to do."
