(A/n: the first half is terribly written because its from a childs point of view. Also For the sake of this chapter theres still no such thing as morning breath...enjoy)

Walking down the secret tunnels as i look for T'challa and Nakia i pick my dress up to avoid stepping on it. It seemed like and no matter how many times i tried to tie a knot it wouldnt stay tight.

"My king, i cant stop thinking about the boy" i hear zuris voice speak. He sounds sad and i dont think ive ever heard him sound sad. "He was like a son to me and we just abandoned him" he keeps talking. A son? Who? I forget about looking for my two friends curious to hear what they were talking about.

"We? No. His father N'jobu made a decision long before we left him in that neighborhood. My brother couldve brought the boy home, had better living and schooling but he chose to stay there, chose to let my neph— his son suffer. N'jobu decided long before we did" i hear King T'chaka speak and even his heavy foot steps walking back and forth.

"Theres a boy whos never going to fit in over there because he doesnt belong there." Zuri tries to argue but the king is angrier.

"He wont fit in here! Let him remain lost, he is no longer our problem" he shouts before his voice gets quiter. But i want to hear everything... i want to know exactly what about this lost boy. Leaning down i try taking a tiny step forward to hold my ear against the vent but instead trip on the long dress falling into the room right between the two men.

T'chaka looks livid like he could kill me if he was a murderer. Zuri looks nervous and scared like when i take ice cream cake balls and eat them before dinner or put to many spoons of sugar in my tea and mama or baba ask but i lie and say no.

I try to get up and run but im quickly grabbed by the cold hands of the king before the room fades slowly into another one. This room i remember it was a science lab that was just being built not much inside except vibranium but with how quickly and roughly they strapped me to the table i dont have time to observe.

"Mama!" I scream with tears pouring down my face wanting her to come save me. The table was cold hard and digging into my back and the king was being rough and mean i didnt like it. I didnt like him anymore. I hear her screams as she tries to run into the room but T'chaka tells Zuri keep mixing while he runs over to my mother.

He catches her directly in her arms but he struggles since shes swinging and screaming and crying to get to me. I hear a loud tearing sound like when i rip the bacon open for baba and put it in the frying pan followed by a squelching sound and lastly a crunching noise that reminds me of when Okoye broke her ankle playing ball with the older boys.

The king takes a step back my mothers now lifeless body falling to the ground her eyes rolling to the back of her head blood pooling at her mouth and gushing from her chest. I let out an even louder scream terrified of what they would do to me when i see the blood dripping off his claws.

Im force fed a mysterious liquid that makes me gag so much i feel like i can barely breathe and it makes my chest hurt.

"Zuri, she wont remember a thing about tonight maybe not even a few things before" my vison blurs as i gasp for air twitching uncontrollably.
