You know the voice in your head that tells you something is a bad idea? That's exactly what I had all day and now I'm standing in the middle of a battle scene standing in a pool of blood.

The sound of screaming echoes throughout the blood bath filled house and thank Bast for T'challa booking it in the secluded woods where nobody could hear. The last thing the remaining four people needed was to get caught by some colonizer cop who needed to mind his business.

"Why would you jump in front of—" Wakabis follower begins to yell with shaky hands though his words are quickly ended by a shower of bullets going through his body from his intended target.

Wakabi stands wide eyed at the scene unable to believe the last five seconds let alone the last twenty minutes of how his plans just spun in the worst possible direction.

There was too much blood and he knew it was all on his hands.

N'jadakas pov

The ticking of the clock next to me was the only sound I heard right before the bed dipped and the sound of sekai giggling met my ears. I was curious about what was so funny this early in the morning... hell she was the only person who could find some reason to be giddy and happy at any moment.

The thought brings a smile to my face before I can open my eyes and be met with her hovering over me. Except this time when i look at her it's different... there's a white glow around her skin, its... it's angelic. Whatever words she says floats melodically through one ear and out the other it's like time slowed down and nothing else mattered... just sekai.

The way her thick curly hair framed her sweet face her bangs covering her joy filled dark brown doe eyes hidden under long lashes, her half dimples that never fully came out whenever she smiled brightly at me... she always smiled at me and it was different from everyone else. I payed attention to that, when she smiled at them it never met her eyes but with me she smiled like it was made just for me and i lo—

"If you did anything crazy to me while I was sleeping, Sekai I swear—" I begin to threaten watching as her smile falters at my morning voice, her tongue quickly darting over her plump lips.

"Is that a threat soldier?" She whispers and i look back at her eyes watching the playfulness behind it as she tries to keep a straight face. Reaching my hand up to her face i run my thumb over her cheek watching as she instantly leans into it her eyes fluttering for a moment.
