"I need triple of the vibranium mined today, i need the A-team delivering to the border tribe, i need the children who just turned 16 in the past 6 months to be sent to my office for their first official day of training. From their they will be broken into smaller groups. I need the elders to be brough up to speed on whats going on and then theres 7 request for the delivery team to fill." I tell my tribe making eye contact with each and every one before explaining how breaks will run and dismissing them. I can tell word spread around quickly since they all have been hesitant and walking on egg shells around me for the past hour but nobody questions it.

Slinging my purse over my shoulder i head to my office, so focused on my tablet i miss N'jadaka sitting on my desk a ball of vibranium in his hands.

"Thought youd go missing for a while im suprised Sekai" he speaks with a grin on his face though i know its not joyfull by the way he calls my actual name and not sweetness.

"No i still have a tribe to run, people depending on me and responsibilities to take care of" i admitt pulling out all the tablets for when the teenagers get here. "Besides im running away once all my work is done" i send him a sly wink though he doesnt look amused, just concerned.

When the teenagers come in i have them sign in with their names and school i.d's before giving them head phones to watch videos and get to know the layout of the vibranium mountains.

"Why dont you have vibranium machines to do this?" Erik ask and i think hes being rude at first until i face him and see the genuine curiosity on his face. Erik didnt grow up here and i doubt when i america that his dad told him every little detail. So i teach him, everything i know about vibranium why it has to be mined by hand, how to ship it to other parts of wakanda without it exploding and i watch as he holds onto every word asking questions and being genuinely interested.

"Wakanda lit and all but its still shit back home thats way better that wakanda is too uppity to have" he tells me throwing his hands in his pockets and i snort at how wrong he is. Ive never been to america but it wasnt anything they had that we didnt. Except racism, classcism, police brutality, school shootings, and that horrible orange dorito dusted man they called a president...but they can keep that.

"Wakanda is your home" i tell him seriously applying a swipe of lip gloss on my lips and fluffing up my curls in the floor to ceiling length mirror.

"Shit dont feel like it, not nore than oakland" he admitts from behind me and i turn to face him watching the quick flash of hurt and anger in his eyes, but hes quick to mask it.

"When you buy your own house it doesnt feel like home. When you buy your furniture put your own touch on things and make memories in it is when it feels like home. Its what you make it N'jadaka" i tell him sliding on my vans giving myself one last look in the mirror. I had on a black bralette, black biker shorts an army jacket and red vans because i knew the walk would get hot.

"How about you come with me?" I suggest with a wide grin and he arches a brow though i can see the interest all over his face.

"Where?" He questions junping off his spot on my desk and walking over to the mirror adjusting his dreads

"Noir city"

When we get to the neighborhood i spot kids racing dirt bikes and hover boards, a few guys lingering on the corner chatting with one another, teenagers showing off holographic videos from their kimoyo beads and even a few couples.

"Kai?! Thats you?!" A masculine voice yells out from behind us and i turn to see kb one of the 12 year olds i knew who was so smart but always getting in trouble. His dad actually worked in the palace though they lived here.
