Sekai...you would really betray me like this?" N'jadaka ask sitting across from me silver handcuffs around his wrist while he give me a wide eyed expression.
I glare at him my thick lips feeling dry all of a sudden. When he first started he wasn't fair! He was ruthless. He was deadly. He only thought about himself and not how anyone else would feel. The heat of the fire licks at my skin but it doesn't compare to the heated look he's giving me.
"What did you think Erik? You would just get away with it?" I snap at him adjusting my grip on the knife in my hand watching as his eyes flicker down to it before meeting mine again. His eyes look around trying to improvise but there was no way out of this situation.
"You've been tricking me from the start and you didn't think I would catch on, you must really think im an idiot" i add on holding the knife tighter pointing it at him.
His tongue ran over his gold caps as he shifted uncomfortably in the cuffs wincing at how tight I had them. A bead of sweat runs down his forehead before the vein in his jaw ticks.
"I know you aren't an idiot, you're one of the smartest people ive known from day one so I figured this would be the greatest game yet" he grins darkly as if he was winning or even had the upper hand.
Scoffing I lean closer to him careful to hide the threat in my left hand but making sure the fire made the knife in my hand glint.
"If I'd known we were playing dirty i wouldve gave you everything I had from the beginning" I hiss watching as the smug look on his face falters.
"You're bluffing?" He tries with a straight face but the panic is obvious he's twitching with anticipation and i know a small part of him no matter how angry is slightly turned on and if that was how I had to get the upper hand then so be it.
"I never bluff about you Daka" I wink pulling on the cuffs making him lean forward his pupils slowly dilating and the fight in his eyes slowly draining. I knew I could make him bow down and fall into my trap it's what i'd been planning since the beginning.
He didn't stand a chance, nobody ever does and the fact that he walked into this so unexpectedly makes it all the more satisfying.

Sitting on a stool in Shuris lab i watch as N'jadaka looks over the weapons that had been stolen along with how they work, the damage they can cause and how to disarm them. They had been doing this for the past two hours and even discussing his leopard suit.
"Sekai i also have a new update for your beads something similar to T'challa's but not quite, some things that might be useful for California—" shuri tells me looking up holding out my bracelet but its intercepted by an annoyed and slight confused N'jadaka.
