Chapter 12

Lauren's P.O.V
Its half 8 and Jade still isnt here ive called i've texted no answer i even called her house but if course her Dad is out if town again and her brother has his friends over so he paid no attention to Jade as usal.
As i sit here watching Paranorman my phone starts to ring i look at the screen to see its a unknow number

"Hello"

"Hello is this Lauren Cimorelli"

"Em yeah who's this"

"Im doctor Robbinson you need to come to the hospital right now Jade got in a accident"

"I'll be right there"
I hang up and run down stairs "Lisa i need you to drive me to the Hospital Jade got in a accident" she doesnt say anything she just grabs her keys and we run out to the car

Once we park i get out of the car and sprint to the desk "im looking for Jade Johnson" she looks at her screen "room 24b" i run straight to her room and see her laying there hooked uo to machines and she is covered in bruises and cuts the doctor turns and looks at me "Lauren" i lift my gaze from Jade and look at him "w-what happened"

"Well by the looks of things she was in some sort of fight but what we were told is when she stood up she was hit by drunk driver who didn't have their lights on"

"Is she go-gonna be o-okay"

"Im sure she will she has a broken arm and leg some bad cuts and brusing but nothing to bad the only thing is we don't know when she'll wake up"

"How did you know to call me"

"The paramedic said that when she was in the ambulance she was coming in and out and just kept saying Lauren she wanted Lauren no body else just you"

Lisa walks in and looks at Jade and instantly walks up to me and wraps her arm around me "ill leave you two alone" the doctor says before leaving the room.

"What happened to her"

"She got in a fight and then hit by a drunk driver" i sit in tge chair beside Jade and take her hand in mine

We just sit in silence for i dont knos how long but i didnt care i wasnt leaving till jade woke up.

I've been here for over a week and lets just say hospital food is disgusting i don't wanna leave because i want someone here when she wakes up i've tried calling her Dad and her Brother but they wont answer so i just gave up

"Come on Jade please wake up you gotta wake up so we can go to the ice rink and laugh everytime someone falls and we can watch stupid movies that we don't even care about and i've had to go over a week without seeing your smile or hearing your Laugh or seeing you and dani mess around when theres music on i miss hearing your voice when i wake up and right before i fall asleep i miss saying i love you to see you blush and i miss you saying it back" after saying all that i break down.

"I-i love y-y-you too"

My heads shoots up to see jade sitting there with a smile on her face i couldn't speak "can you get me that water" i grab the cup of water and hand it to her "should i get the doctor" she shakes her head
"Kiss first" i lean in and we share a sweet passionate kiss "i'll be right back"

"Don't worry i won't go anywhere"
Finally her stupid sense of humor "hey Dr.Robbinson"

"Hey Lauren everything okay" he says putting his clip boared down

"Great actually Jade just woke up"

He starts smiling "well lets go see how she is and she might just get to keave today shall we" he says gesturing towards the door

"Well Jade everything seems fine you can leave tomorrow morning but we can't discharge you without an adult so is there anyone who could comr and get you"

She looks at me "did toby or my dad come in at all" i shake my head i could see sadness in her eyes "Could Lisa come get us"

"Yeah ill call her"

"Right i'll leave you two and i'll see you in the moring" Dr.Robbinson says before walking out of the room.

"So They never came in to see me" i slowly shake my head i can see the hurt in her eyes "did they know i was here"

"I called a couple of times a day and left messeages but they never called me back or came in im so sorry Jade"

She turns her head to the left and see's Cards an balloons she picks all the cards she reads the first one which is from my mom and dad it says

To Jade i hope you get better soon and everythings is going to be okay we pray for you every night we love you like you are one of our own

She smiles and reads all the cards "you should really go home Laur" i shake my stubornly "im not leaving this hospital with out you"

"Well get off the seat and get into the bed with me lady"

"Your like all broken"

"I have a broken arm and a broken leg i think ill survive"

"Yeah but your bruised and cut everywhere"

"Well i want my cuddles i mean ive missed over a weeks worth soooo"

"Ugh fine" i get in beside her she kisses my forehead "i really missed you" "I missed you to Laur"

"Hey you two ready to go" Lisa says walking into the room "yup"

"Good to have the goofball back no jokes were the same without you"she says ruffling Jades hair lisa signs some forms before leaving "did you bring the truck"

"No i brought my car thought it would be easier for Jade"

"Okay em how are we gonna do this" i say looking at Jade in the WheelChair

"You take one arm ill take the other and we help her into the car"

"Okay 1,2,3 go"

"Ouch leg leg leg"

"Sorry babe"

"Okay Lauren you put the wheel chair in the boot cause im to lazy"

"So hows this gonna work like your room is up stairs and jade can't walk"

"Well theres the extra living room that she would usually sleep in with the chair bed so i guess we could stay in there"

When we pull up to the house all the family standing outside with a banner saying welcome home Jade i look back to see her smileing and getting teary eyed i grab her hand a give it a light squeeze
