Chapter 13

Jade's P.O.V

"So are how you feeling now" Kath asks making a cup of coffee "

"Still in a lot of pain but you guys are being so good im feeling much better" she starts to smile "you have Lauren to thank for that"
"I know she's amazing"

I wheel myself into the living room well my bedroom and see Lauren sitting on the bed doing her make up
"Hey cripple" she laughs "oh your lucky im in this wheel chair so i can't get you so you going out" she shakes her head "no i was just in the mood to do my make-up"

"Can you do me a favour and help me onto the bed"

"Sure" once im up on the bed comfortably she sits back down to finish her make up

"JADE CAN I HAVE A GO OF YOU WHEELCHAIR PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEE"

"I em yeah sure"

"Only while i change her Dressings Dani then we're going out"

She doesn't answer she just jumps into the chair and wheels herself away. "So i've been thinking"

"That's Never a good sign"

I act shocked and glare at her "anyway like i was saying i've been thinking and when this school year ends im gonna get my own apartment i don't even have to wait until the year ends im 18 in a week"

She just looks at me half happy and half confused like she doesn't know what to say

"I mean what's the point in staying at my dad's i mean they pay zero attention to me and when i was in hospital they proved to me exactly how much they cared by not showung up"

"But what about little zach and Nate"

"They have dad, dad cares about them ye know cause they're boys my dad never wanted a daughter even tho im not into the whole dress and make up thing im not into stuff that he is and he hates it and the fact that i'd rather spend my 2 month aniversarry with My Girlfriend and not at a race track
He doesn't accept me Lo and i mean this woukd be privacy for us we everytime we kiss someone comments on it and anytime we try to make out or cuddle its always interrupted and if i got my own place that wouldn't happen"

She just continues to unravel my Dressings

"Lo come on please just think about it and if you don't think i should i won't"
I kiss her temple

"You should do it i want you to be happy and if you don't feel comfortable then i want you to do whatever will help now i need you to try roll on your side so i can tape the bandage"

"Jade how did this happen i mean to your face and ribs" she asks skimming her thumb across my bottom lip

"Carlys friends and stuff its no biggie i pushed her off me and yeah but i don't care it could have been worse"

She kisses each cut and bruise before kissing my lips "im gonna go get your wheek chair and we can maybe go out for a walk / wheel"
I nod "i'd like that"

A week later

Laurens P.O.V

"Lisa stop messing Jade is gonna be back in less than a half hour we have to finish setting up so stop putting hats on your head" i rip the hat from her hand and put it back on the table

"We're home" i hear my mom shout i see her shadow walking in with a limping Jade into the living room

"SURPRISE" We all shout Jade's mouth turns into the shape of an O
"Happy Birthday Jade" each one of my sisters say giving her a hug before going to socialise with everyone.
This is Jades first time meeting my whole family like aunts and uncles etc

"So that's your Girlfriend" my big cousin asks i nod "and she treats you right"

"She treats me way better than she should"

"Well good" she says before walking away. Well that was awkward now i know how jade feels meeting everyone. I see she's alone so i walk over behind her "can i steal you for a few minutes. We walk out to the back "so you got out of the wheelchair today i see"

"Yup still got the cast and the cast on my arm but hey im getting better"

"Here i have something for you" i hand her a little box with half a boom box her half says her name and half of our anniversary date "Thank you babe i love it" she kisses my cheek and i put it on her "Happy Birthday Babe i love you" i kiss her lips then rest my head on her shoulder and we look up at the stars enjoying eachothers company
