Charlie
Why is it hard to say we live to die? Whether we're happy or freakin' miserable, when the clock times out; it's back to before life -nothing, nutta. Maybe just a quiet soul...
Chapter 11
"Stop it!" I giggled pushing Julie's face playfully away from my ear. She was doing this creepy thing with her tongue on the swell of my earlobe.
"Make me," she said doing it again.
"I swear..." I said in a mock pissed off and angry low voice.
"What?" She said sexily as she licked my ear in slow motion and drew little cropcircles on my tummy with her index finger.
"This!" I said capturing her arm and rolling on top of her.
"I'm so scared!" She said making a horrified face that was as bad as the ones in the original Scream movie.
I pinned her onto the bed holding both her arms above her head as I hovered over her.
"You should be," I said feeling an intense urge to just lean over a bit lower and kiss her scrumptuous lips.
We had successfully finished studying (which was work), and now it was time to play.
"Really?" She said undulating her hips beneath me.
"You're asking for trouble."
"Trouble is my middle name," she said biting at the air to show how vicious her bite was.
"Julie 'Trouble' Hart? Sounds like the name of a character from a Western."
"I was thinking more along the lines of a Southern," she said suggestively.
All Southerns were made in the great nether-lands and on a zero budget.
"You are so freakin' nasty."
"But I know you like it."
Ok, that was it; a girl could only take so much innuendo!
I released her arms and dug my fingers into her hair keeping her head firm as I kissed her with all the pent-up raw energy that was bubbling in my blood.
She made a few mewling sounds as she slightly adjusted her head and started undoing my pants.
"We can't," I said still caught up in the violent lusty undertoe.
She didn't slow down going until she had the zipper down.
"No!" I said getting off of her and the bed.
"Charlie," she whined flattening herself against the bed as if it could swallow her. "I don't want to go."
"Well, you have to," I said righting my pants before I packed my books.
The thing was, all society's who's who had dinners to raise funds for school upgrades, hospice support and such noble tasks that left their names on everybody's lips.
"I'll be bored crazy!" Jules said sitting up on the bed.
"That you will, but then you'll be crazy-beautiful or something like that."
"Please, just come."
"As what? Your new subtle bodyguard or something? Besides, I'm not wearing any fancy dinner dresses that I actually don't own," I said putting my bag strap on my shoulder.
"I know," she said accepting her fate. "Three shitty hours with Nygel Preecke as my date!"
"Yep, he's a prick. I have to go," I said giving her a peck on her pouted kissers.
"You don't have a ride!" She called out from the other side of her bedroom door.
"Ever heard of a bus?!" I shouted back before trypsing down the huge stairs clad in Azerbaijani loomed carpet.
"You're leaving Miss. Goodstart?" The maid asked opening the door for me.
"Yes, I had made plans that I just couldn't cancel."
"I thought you would have stayed and help Julie with her dress -you know how she loves a new dress." The older woman said as if it was a top secret like the location of Area 51.
Yes, I would have very much liked to help her undress...
"I'm not big on fashion either," I said pointing at my simple ensemble. "I'll see you around," I said wanting to break into a full sprint across the front yard.
"See you too," she said shutting the door noiselessly.
I had an uneasy feeling that Leti (the maid), knew exactly what kind of friendship Julie and I had. Maybe she'd overheard us do something, it could have been anything, it could have been a drunken Julie -well that wasn't comforting.
The only thing that I was sure of, was that if the maid was up to no good; she would have spilled the beans by now. But she hadn't. So, maybe she knew the kind of trouble Julie's parents finding out meant, or she simply was pro-lesbian, whatever the case, she better not think it hot enough a topic for gossip!
I walked the mile stretch up to the main road and sat at the empty bus stop. I was already missing being around her but that was just the sappy pieces of me and okay, a bit of the raunchy bits as well.
Luckily, a bus came by within a few minutes and I was fast headed for the city.
My plans for the afternoon were hanging out with Harp for a while, and then running a veggie errand for my mom before nightfall.
Ever since Harp and I kissed, I've been afraid of being alone with him. If I had to meet him I always brought Julie along, and if we were alone, there had to be other people around.
I rang the bell literally shaking in my boots.
"Hey! You made it!" Harper said excitedly as if he had expected me to be a no-show.
"I did," I said walking into the dragon's lair.
I had a gut feeling that I wasn't supposed to be there, but I couldn't just turn and leave, now could I?
