The week flew by fast, as our whole family raced through large crowds of people in King's Cross Station. When the clock struck twelve, we were all on the train Hogwarts. Our kids had their own section on the train as we sat behind them. The blinds were pulled down completely facing the narrow hallway of the train station. I watched the vast landscape zoom bay as we traveled to Hogwarts.
"Did Professor McGonagall receive our letter?" Hermione asked.
I turned my head towards her as our conversation began.
"Yea," I answered.
We were all deprived of sleep and needed it badly. I yawned loudly as our conversation resumed.
"Harry, did you remember to bring the memory that Professor McGonagall sent you?" Ginny asked.
"I couldn't forget," I said as I leaned against the window looking towards the landscape.
Again, I yawned. I probably received the least amount of sleep of all of us.
"Harry, you seem exhausted," Ron said.
"I agree, you should take a nap," Hermione added.
"I don't know...," I mumbed. "I'm afraid 'he' might see what we're up to."
"Harry, I suggest you do so," Ginny insisted.
Suddenly, I heard snoring. Our heads turned towards Ron, who was leaning on the walls of the section, drooling and snoring.
"I insist," Hermione said.
"Fine," I agreed reluctantly. "If 'he' sees what we're doing, and we are attacked, don't blame me."
"We'll wake you if we see something happen," Ginny promised.
I smiled and closed my eyes.
A ring, a necklace, a diary, a tiara, a snake, and himself appeared on a piece of paper in an office. Then, at the bottom was a photo of me, Harry Potter. These were all parts of Voldemort's soul. I could hear it.
"Harry!" Hermione shouted, as Ron shook me wildly.
"What happened?" I asked.
"It happened again, didn't it?" Ginny questioned.
I was perplexed, but then I knew.
"Harry! You can't let him in!" Hermione yelled.
"I'm sorry! I can only resist the spell Legilimency!" I shouted back.
"There's got to be a way to stop him," Hermione muttered.
I sighed and peered out of the window, I pulled out the memory Professor McGonagall sent me and stared at it. I knew that this is one of the missing clues necessary to defeat Voldemort once and for all. I'm going straight to the Pensieve as soon as I can.
"What did you see?"Ginny asked.
"Nothing, it was just the Horcruxes of You-Know-Who," I said.
"Were you on the list?" she questioned.
"Yea...that's the part I don't understand," I replied.
Hermione quickly entered the conversation.
"Harry, don't you see?" she asked me. "You-Know-Who are not only connected by the soul, but by the mind!"
"What?" I questioned in confusion.
"When You-Know-Who and you first met," she explained, "Your mind, soul, and wands have been joined. What I'm trying to explain to you, is that no matter what, you two are joined."
