In Hermione, Harry, Ron and Ginny's tiny corner, the entire family - including the kids - sat anticipating Harry to storm into the room. Ginny paced on the floor, scratched her head, and twiddled her thumbs. Ron tried to stay cool, but everyone was nervous. Harry hadn't returned yet...and it was the morning of the night after the duel. Although it was morning, it was still dark. It was before the sun rose.

"Where could he be?" Ginny asked aloud.

"I have no idea!" Hermione panicked. "Since you've started pacing, I've gotten really nervous.."

Lily sat there on her parent's bed emotionless. She was being tossed around on an emotion roller coaster. She felt sad because her father hadn't returned and no one knew where he was. She was happy because her father was alive. She was angry, because Voldemort may have killed her father. She was curious, because she wanted to know how her father dealt with Voldemort every year of his life at Hogwarts since the mere age of ten.

Harry woke up on the leafy ground of the Forbidden Forest. He blinked a few times and sat up. What just happened?, he asked himself. In front of him was Voldemort. He laid on the ground like a dead animal. However, he was still alive. Harry didn't know what to do, so he ran back up into Hogwarts. After enter the Room of Requirement, he noticed that all of the students were there. He was watched and gossiped about in the large room of students. He quickly entered his private room and turned around. Suddenly his entire family attacked him with hugs and love.

"Whoa!" Harry gasped. "What happened to you guys?"

"What do you mean?" Ginny asked.

"Look, I know it's been more than twelve hours since I last seen you all, but you guys seem different," Harry said.

"Why?" Hermione questioned.

"You guys seem...more worried. Is everything okay?" Harry asked.

"Harry, we're just relieved the you returned unharmed!" Ginny answered.

Harry and his family cleaned up and began to talk about plans to destroy the Drifter.

"Before I fell last night, I saw the Drifter!" Harry announced.

"Is that why there was that lightning bolt that fell from the sky?" Hermione asked.

"There was a lightning bolt? I thought You-Know-Who was trying to kill me with the Killing Curse, but part of the curse reflected against the Drifter and onto him, so we'd both fall," Harry thought out loud.

"Well, whatever happen, the Drifter must've caused it," Ginny concluded.

"I remember reading that Drifters are found in the place where the two wizards have shared. Maybe it drifted towards you two when you two were together!" Hermione exclaimed.

"That makes sense!" Ron exclaimed.

They had expanded our little corner by adding a few more floating curtains. There was a small curtain parallel to the wall straight across from the entrance. There was another perpendicular to it. Using the corner's two walls, they had their beds which were barely divided by another curtain. Another two curtains, made the same rectangular room, just bigger. They completely divided the large rectangle in two. One of the rectangles took up two-thirds of the large one. In there, they set up a table and a place for food. In the room across from it, they had a small room for storage. Small little openings were supposed to be doors.

The rest of the school had also set up colored curtains and little signs to make little dorms for the students to live in. In the center of the room, there was a Hogwarts rug there and a few couches and lamps. Surrounding two sides of the rug and furniture, there were refrigerators that contained food. Professor McGonagall made the students stay in the room at all times.

McGonagalls' Rules:

1) You must stay in this room at all times.

2) You must be with either a teacher, three trusted students, or a school prefect to leave the room.

3) Lights out at 10:30 PM every night.

"If we see the curse, maybe we can make a counter-curse to it and reverse it all, then we can teach it to the students and professors," Hermione suggested.

"No, we should just try something much more simpler," Harry argued. "I know from this connection that the curse is very difficult already. It's even more difficult to create a counter-curse. Especially one made up now!"

"We can't just sit here and argue, we have to do something!" Ginny exclaimed.

"For now, we should reinforce the rules Professor McGonagall's Rules and extend all D.A.D.A classes," Harry said.

There was silence amongst them all. They had been arguing since the time Harry returned from his duel. Each one of them had voices, weak and scratchy.

"I'm tired of arguing. I going to get a drink," Harry said as he left their room.

All of the kids were returning from their last class. The doors opened as a mob of kids pushed each other to get in. Harry watched them all rush in. As he reached into a small box, he heard them all start screaming. He quickly looked back up and saw Death Eaters shooting spells and curses. Then there was that curse.

"Students! Into the Room of Requirement!" Professor McGonagall shouted.

Hermione, Ron, and Ginny rushed out as Harry began to jump into action. Harry and another Death Eater began to have a wizard's duel as students carefully avoided danger. Hermione, Ginny, and Ron ran out of the Room of Requirement as Professor McGonagall and some other professors locked the room. As more Death Eaters marched down the halls, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny fought them off. Harry defeated the Death Eater he was sparring with and saw the other Death Eaters crowding around them. They split into groups. Harry and Ron used offensive spells as Hermione and Ginny used defensive spells.

"There's too many! We can't just use Ministry safe spells in a battle like this!" Harry yelled. "And Percy wonders why there are so many casualties in the Auror Department!"

"Use any spells you want Harry!" Hermione shouted. "This isn't the Ministry's battle. It's ours - or to be more specific - your battle!"

Harry began to use various amounts of spells. Some that he thought he'd never use. As the population of Death Eaters began to diminish, there were whispers in the air. Voldemort was about to make a proclamation to the students, teachers, and Harry and his friends.

"Teachers and students of Hogwarts, you have nothing to fear. If you do what we say and want, we will get along just fine...maybe. There is only one person that stands from peace with me and you all...and death," Voldemort announced in everyone's heads. "Harry Potter is the one to be feared. Anyone who has faith in him is to be feared. Anyone who is a mudblood, should be feared. I know you're all out there, just waiting to be found - and killed. The battle has just begun. I know you're out there...among the hidden."
