The Blind Leading the Blind

Ginny was racing towards the castle and saw the Death Eaters waiting for her outside of the entrance to bridge. She knew she had to out wit them to get help. However, if she shot any spells, it would give off her position. A branch abruptly snapped behind her. She turned around and saw a tall Death Eater reaching out trying to touch her. All the sudden, she heard the spell "Stupefy" and fell. Ginny was discovered as the Death Eaters took the cloak. They dragged her back to Bellatrix as she tied Harry to a tree. Then, she tied Ginny to a tree in front of Harry.

"Awake them," she ordered as she fiddled with her wand.

Two Death Eaters used the spell "Rennerverate" and they instantly awoke. Ginny woke up and began to look around. She tried to move from the tree was tied to, but was completely attached to it. Harry was tied as well. (They were tied standing.)

"I see you both have awakened...," Bellatrix smirked as she snapped her fingers. "We've made a few improvements to the war...including subtracting you two."

Ginny saw some Death Eaters bring out a larger invisibility cloak and use a gluing charm to seal it to the grass on the side opposite of Bellatrix. Ginny returned her attention to Bellatrix. She crept towards Ginny and whipped out her wand.

"You all are too far away to be heard. You're invisible to the world," Bellatrix said. "Sectumsempra!"

Ginny quickly jerked to her left and her right cheek was cut, but luckily, it was a minor injury. She felt the red blood drip slowly from her cheek and stain the leaves, dirt, and grass beneath her. Bellatrix walked towards Harry and looked at him.

"I may not be able to see correctly, but I can still see your cold face," Harry said.

Bellatrix yanked his head up and put her dagger up near his neck. She placed it in the tree behind him - next to his neck - and pulled out her wand.

"Sectumsempra!" she casted.

It hit the tree and the tree began to slowly lean on Harry. Bellatrix retrieved her dagger and grinned. Fenrir took her place as she began to walk back to the Death Eater's headquarters. Fenrir sealed Ginny and Harry under the cloak and left. However, he stopped in his tracks and turned towards them.

"By the way...if you two try and shout to get out, we placed a charm to break the sound coming from inside...good luck...," he said as he left.

Ginny and Harry struggled and tried to get out of the ropes. Ginny began to shout and scream as she failed to break free of the ropes.

"Ginny, please stop screaming," Harry said.

"Harry! We have to get out of here!" she said. "What should we do?"

"First, we need to get out of these ropes," Harry ordered.

From feeling the way the rope was tied around his legs, Harry used a non-verbal spell and began to untie the rope. Ginny watched him carefully and began to follow him. After ten minutes, the ropes that held them to the two trees, laid on the leafy ground.

"How should we get out of the cloak?" Ginny asked.

"Um...find something out there and use Accio to bring it to you. Maybe it will cut the cloak," Harry suggested.

She did as Harry said and a pointy rock came towards them. Ginny's will was strong, but the rock wasn't. Harry waited, but then he saw a blurry dark creature point towards him and walk closer.

"There's something coming," Harry said.

Ginny lost concentration as the creature pulled out a sword and raised it up. Harry couldn't see what it was doing, but Ginny pushed him against a tree to protect both of them. It was a centuar. Ginny and Harry came out of the cloak as the centaur ran off.

"Wait!" Ginny shouted.

"I think we should get back to the castle," Harry suggested.

"Alright," Ginny agreed. "Take my hand."

Harry grabbed Ginny's hand and they aparated back to the Dark Forest. They finally and quickly reached their destination, but then, they began to fall. Ginny began to scream as Harry remained calm.

"What's going on?" Harry asked.

"We're falling from over one-hundred feet in the air!" Ginny shouted.

"What?" Harry yelled.

Suddenly they fell into a large body of water. They came up coughing and crawled up to the side.

"I just remembered something," Harry began. "Dumbledore placed a charm that prevents people from aparating in and out of Hogwarts. Where are we?"

"We're just outside of the courtyard," Ginny answered. "Grab my hand."

Harry took Ginny's hand and they climbed up the cliff near the Dark Forest. Once they dried off, they began to hear twigs snap. Ginny peered into the forest and saw the Death Eaters. She tightened her grip as more Death Eaters appeared. Ginny pulled Harry into the bridge that connected the Dark Forest to the courtyard as Death Eaters began to penetrate school grounds.

"Harry!" Neville shouted from ahead.

Cho and Neville pulled out their wands and began to shoot spells at the Death Eaters. Ginny and Harry finally made it into the courtyard when a sudden coldness drifted in from behind them. Ginny and Harry turned around and she gasped.

"That's right Potter...I'm back," he grinned.

Harry stared at the blurry figure and waited for him to identify himself.

"Blind, are you?" he asked. "Let me cure you."

"Stupefy!" Ron shouted.

"Ginny!" Hermione said as she gave Ginny a potion. "It's for Harry!"

Ginny gave it to Harry and he drank it. His vision was temporarily cured for a few days. Harry took another look at the figure who was speaking to him before and began to dodge spells that Neville and Cho were holding off.

"Did I just render you speechless?" Voldemort asked.

"How are you here?" Harry inquired.

Suddenly, another person appeared behind Ginny. Harry turned around and saw Bellatrix, who had their wands. He tried to snatch his wand back, but Bellatrix threatened to break them.

"Crucio!" Voldemort shouted.

Harry quickly turned around and saw Ginny being tormented by the curse. He quickly turned to Ron and took a quick glance at his wand.

"Ron, give me your wand!" Harry ordered.

Ron gave it to him and Harry began to shoot spells. Voldemort stopped cursing Ginny. Ginny rested as Harry and Voldemort exchanged Death stares.

"Harry!" Ginny choked from behind Harry.

Harry turned around and saw that Bellatrix held Ginny by her neck and threatened to slice her throat with her dagger.

"Put the wand down," Bellatrix ordered.

Harry quickly did what she said to save Ginny.

"No! Don't listen to her, Harry - ," Ginny croaked.

"Shut up!" Bellatrix shouted as she put the dagger up to Ginny's skin.

Suddenly, Harry was overwhelmed with pain as collapsed onto the ground fighting the curse. Ginny was being suffocated by Bellatrix and other Death Eaters fought Neville, Cho, Hermione, and Ron. Within twenty minutes of battling relentless agony and battles, the members of Dumbledore's Army fell to the Death Eaters. Harry and Ginny soon fell unconscious after their friends had been hit by the Stunning Spell. There was no stopping the Death Eaters and Voldemort now...
