To Be or To Not Be

"Father!" she smiled.

Ginny wasn't positive if it was her or not. Harry could tell it was her, but he couldn't be sure. Polyjuice potion is always used.

"Excuse me for a minute...Lily...," Harry said as he ran out of the Room of Requirement.

"Harry!" Ginny shouted, but he never heart her.

Harry ran out to the courtyard where he left Ginny. Her physical body was gone. That's impossible, Harry thought to himself as he walked back to the Room of Requirement. When he returned all of the students had moved in and his family was no where to be seen. He ran into the corner where his family slept and there was a note there.

Your family has been held captive somewhere in the Forbidden Forest, go there tonight at sun set and confront your fate. Go there if you want to see your daughter again...

"What?" Harry asked himself.

He peeked out of the floating curtains. He stepped back in and thought for a moment.

"Could they still be out there? Could she?" Harry asked himself.

It was nearly dinner time at Hogwarts. That meant that the sun set would occur soon. He snatched his wand and invisibility cloak. Harry ran out to the Forbidden forest when he saw a large group of Dementors floating above him. Harry ran into the tree populated forest and searched for his family. He began to get a feeling that someone was watching him, so he put on his invisibility cloak. As he turned around the trunk of a thick tree, he saw his family. They were being held by Death Eaters and their wands had been taken. Voldemort sensed Harry's presence.

"Wait Bellatrix...before you begin your torture on our guests, I believe there is another one here," Voldemort said. "Call out Fenrir."

Fenrir came out of a huge crowd of Death Eaters and smiled.

"My lord, the transformation will begin. At the mere end of the sun set, the moon and the sun will be out at the same time - the sun closing our day and the moon breaking the day into the night. My transformation will begin and I will search for Potter if he shan't come," Fenrir stated.

"To avoid scaring Potter's children before the main show, I cordially suggest that you leave the forest...I want his children to be scarred with pain and sorrow. I want them to be destroyed. I want Lily...dear Lily Luna Potter...to be dead," Voldemort grinned as Ginny struggled to break free of the Death Eater.

"Perhaps I shall stay...m'lord," Fenrir refused.

"Do you dare deny my request?" Voldemort asked as he exposed his pale white wand to Fenrir. "You have thirty seconds."

"Your request is my command, m'lord...I'm sorry," Fenrir said quickly as he left the grounds.

Voldemort turned to Harry's children. First, he looked at Albus. Harry wanted to destroy Voldemort. The tension between him and Voldemort grew dramatically quickly.

"What's your name?" Voldemort asked him.

"Albus...Albus Severus Potter," Albus answered, afraid to deny Voldemort's request.

"Ah...Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape...do you know of them?" Voldemort inquired.

"Yes," Albus replied.

"Have you seen true Death?" Voldemort questioned.

"I thought I did...until we were kidnapped," Albus shivered.

"You've been taught well...too bad you may not live to tomorrow," Voldemort grinned.

Harry took a step closer as Voldemort took a step closer to the true Lily. Bellatrix was in her form, but still had a few streaks of red in her hair. He should've known. Harry took another step closer and in rage casted a spell at Voldemort. He revealed himself and Voldemort stared at him. Wasn't he going to make a move?, Harry thought to himself.

"Harry! Behind you!" Hermione shouted

Harry turned around and saw Fenrir Greyback in his wolf form. Harry looked around and saw Voldemort nearby.

"Father! Be careful!" Lily shouted fearfully.

"Don't worry Lily!" Harry replied. "I'll be alright."

Lily watched her father battle the Death Eaters, Voldemort, and a werewolf. How did my father put up with Voldemort?, Lily asked herself, How did he do it at my age? The mere age of ten?

"Sectumsepmra!" Harry casted as he wounded Fenrir.

"Crucio!" Voldemort shouted as Harry dodged the curse.

"Stupefy!" Harry said to release Ron.

Ron began to release other people and gave them their wands from where they were hidden. Harry raced to protect his family as Voldemort came closer.

"Don't you all want to know why little, Lily Luna Potter lived?" Voldemort asked them all. "The day that I was about to finally destroy Harry Potter, he took the curse himself and protected Lily...since then, she has been invulnerable to the Killing Curse...just like you, Potter. I intend to destroy both of you."

Harry non-verbally casted the spell "Stupefy" at Voldemort. Then he realized that Harry still had the invisibility cloak in his hand. After Ron returned with the wands, Harry quickly gave Ron his invisibility cloak.

"Take them back to the castle," Harry ordered Ron.

"Alright, but I'm coming back down to help you," Ron said.

"I guess I can't stop you, but I really want you to stay in Hogwarts," Harry pleaded.

"Fine, but I'll be watching," Ron whispered.

"Imperio!" Voldemort shouted.

Harry knew Ron couldn't resist the Imperious Curse.

"Harry!" Ron cried.

"Ron! Resist it! Come up with a strong will! Think about your family and love!" Harry suggested.

Suddenly the curse rebounded and Ron gathered the children, Hermione, and Ginny. They then left as Voldemort and Harry fought over their differences. Sparks flew from their wands as they continued to duel. Suddenly, Voldemort corned Harry at a tree and they both heard something. A whisper perhaps. They both turned around and saw a white sphere with a cream and black spiral in the center, like a cat's eye marble.

"The Drifter!" Harry exclaimed.

"The what?" Voldemort questioned.

"The Drifter," Harry answered. "This is our two souls combined...looks like."

The Drifter hypnotized the two as it began to twist faster. The group of Dementors disappeared and the clouds of the night appeared. Voldemort and Harry circled around the Drifter with their eyes wide open. It began to rain, but neither one of the wizards acknowledged it. The Drifter's hypnotic powers were too strong. Suddenly, a lightning bolt came crashing down onto the Drifter and it rebounded and hit Voldemort and Harry. Then, the Drifter moved on and drifted into the night.

In the midst of the night, a black-cloaked creature - thought to be a skeleton - walked between the bodies of Voldemort and Harry. He grinned, although having no teeth.

"You two brothers are no match for me,

Even the powerful one will cease.

The youngest with the cloak to hide,

Won't be here much longer to realize,

That three men,

Different in every way,

Will leave and descend,

Into my toxic hellish bay," it said.

Then it left to destroy the Drifter for itself.
