Wings flapping in the early morning meant mail was coming. All the students stood up and caught the mail that their parents had sent them. However, one owl, completely dressed in dark black feathers. It flew into Harry, Hermione, Ginny, and Ron's corner. It sat perched on a chair with a letter in its beak until Harry awoke. Harry walked into the living room and saw the owl.

"Who are you from little guy?" Harry asked as he took the letter out of the owl's beak.

He took the letter out of the envelope and pulled out the worn-out parchment.

Potter,

It may be unclear to you now,

But it will definitely knock you down.

I'll see you soon in my little place,

Along with someone else who will share your disgrace.

Say your goodbyes and give your love away,

Because you won't be seeing them soon anyway.

- Death

Harry grew angry at the note as the owl flew away. He crumpled it up in a ball and threw it on the table. He began to walk towards the places where Dumbledore's Army stayed. He walked out to the entrance near the Dark Forest and saw Cho, Neville, Seamus, George, Parvati, and Padma.

"Hey Neville," Harry greeted him as he sat staring into the forest and turned around.

"Hey Harry," Neville replied as Harry took a seat next to him.

"Where are you all camping out?" Harry asked.

"We've set up two tents on each side of the entrance - one on the left and one on the right," Neville answered. "We would have the girls in one tent and us guys in the other tent."

"Alright," Harry nodded.

"We'd have one girl and one guy walk around the entrance and watch for any abnormal sightings," Neville explained. "Cho was inside the girl's tent. Cho and I were watching at the beginning of the night and at early morning."

Suddenly, Cho came out of one of the tents and smiled. She walked towards Neville and Harry with a happy face.

"Good morning, Cho," Harry said.

"Good morning, Harry...Neville," she replied.

Footsteps filled the silence in the back ground. Harry turned around, and saw Ginny racing towards him.

"Harry!" she shouted.

"Ginny!" he replied.

"Harry," she started as she reached him, "I found this note crumpled up on the table. I read it...we shouldn't ignore it."

"It's just another stupid, taunting letter from Death," Harry said.

"Did you read the back?" Ginny asked.

"There's a back?" Harry questioned.

Ginny handed Harry the note as he opened it and read the back.

To save yourself and your enemy, write a poem, with words of love, rhyming them as Death does so himself. Write it for a loved one. Write it for a friend. Just write it and read it after casting this spell "vitae expectationem". However, this spell and poem will only work if you write it yourself and if it truly states your feelings for one.

- Nicholas Flammel

"Nicholas Flammel?" Harry asked aloud.

"Yea, who's he?" Ginny questioned.
