Harry, Hermione, and Ginny awoke in their beds in the Room of Requirement. Harry reached for the side table to find his glasses. He suddenly let out a shriek. He clutched his left arm as Ginny - who laid beside him turned her head in worry.

"What happened Harry?" She quickly asked.

"No idea," he said.

The curtain that divided the two beds were removed, so they could all see each other. Hermione stood up and looked down at Ron. He was sleeping peacefully. Maybe.

"Ron, wake up," she ordered as she shook him.

However, he remained motionless as Ginny noticed that her left ankle was wrapped, elevated, and iced. She tried to move it, but it hurt too much.

"Ron?" Hermione asked again as she began to shake him.

He never said anything, he never moved, and he never woke up. Harry used his right hand and put his glasses on. He took a swift glance around the room and noticed that everyone was injured. He looked down at his left arm and noticed that it was wrapped and he was aching all over. He felt like he was just ripped into pieces, and slammed to the ground.

"What's wrong with Ron?" Harry asked.

Hermione rushed to a nearby table and found her wand. She raced back to Ron to re-awake him. It didn't work. She knew the spell, and she never got anything wrong. Something was up. Hermione cast the spell again. Nothing worked. Harry was determined to help his best friend. He struggled to get up and grabbed Hermione's wand. He cast the spell, and Ron awoke. Hermione gave Harry a glance.

"H-How did you do that?" she asked him.

"Um...I-I just cast the spell," Harry answered.

There was no way Hermione just made a mistake using a simple spell. Ron looked around and noticed that everyone was beat up. There was a wrap on his head, along with a pack of ice.

"What just happened?" Ron asked aloud.

"That's what we're wondering," Harry said.

Hermione took a look outside and gasped. Frozen, she made a gesture for everyone to come towards her. Ron followed her immediately as Harry helped Ginny out of her bed. Ginny used Harry to help her walk - although, neither of them could walk very well.

"Something happened, and clearly don't remember what," Hermione muttered.

"Yea," Ron agreed.

Professor McGonagall saw that they were out of their beds and walked down to them. She had the most worried expression on her face. Once she finally reached them, they gathered at the small wooden table in their little corner. They all listened to her talk.

"There was a horrible attack at Hogwarts," she cried. "A quarter of the school's muggle-borns had their magical powers taken away. I'm sure you all know how to stop it."

Harry, Hermione, Ginny, and Ron stared at her in confusion, for they had no idea what just happened. Hermione leaned forward to comfort Professor McGonagall and to tell her that they didn't recall what had occured.

"Um...professor...we don't exactly remember what happened," Hermione said. "All we heard was Voldemort's speech, and that was it."

"What?" she sobbed.

"We don't know what happened," Harry repeated. "We're all pretty banged up. None of us can fight right now...at least not at our best effort."

Professor McGonagall used a handkerchief to wipe the tears from her eyes and looked down. She left without saying a word. Then she returned with four bottles of potions. Professor McGonagall set the potions in front of them and sat down again.
