KATE'S POV

"Hey sweetie. How are you feeling?" I asked Jenny as I put a warm towel on her head.
"Kat?"
"It's me"
"What happened? Where's Grayson?"
"He's outside talking to a doctor. He's  worried sick about you"
"Kat don't tell him"
"Jenny he'll know sooner or later"
"Later. Not now. He has the Seattle show in two days Kat I don't want him to lose focus"

She didn't know she's been out for two days and that Grayson's show was that night. But I had to tell her.
"Actually Jenny.."
"What?"
"Grayson's show is tonight. You've been sleeping for two days"
"Then this is anothet reason why you shouldn't tell Grayson I'm sick. I want him to perform his best like he always does"
I expected her to at least feel a bit scared or worried about herself. But all she cared about was Grayson.
I wanted someone I could worry about but that someone is too busy being blinded by a blondy cheating girlfriend.

"Jenny? Are you awake?" Grayson said while he opened the door to the bedroom.
"Gray..."
"I'll give you guys some privacy" I said while I closed the door behind me.
They needed some time alone to talk.
"Oh you're here" Meredith asked.
"Where else would I be?"
If it was any other day I would have started a comeback war with her. But I didn't feel like it. I just wanted my bestfriend to be okay...
Ethan still wasn't talking to me.
It's been more than 3 days. We never stopped talking for this long.
"How is your little friend doing?"
She asked.
Couldn't she just stop talking? Like seriously.
"She's better. Honestly why are you even asking? You don't care about anyone but yourself"
"Mature kate. Real mature" Ethan said from behind me.
Oh come on! Seriously?
He wouldn't see his grilfriend kissing another guy but he could hear me say that?
I just didn't reply.

I opened the bus door and just got off.
I needed to walk things off.
I needed some alone time.
"Kate stop" I heard Ethan say from behind me.
"What do you want?"
"Look what is the matter with you? I know we once had this thing but.."
"Had this thing?" This thing? "Ethan we never had a thing. You didn't even give us a chance. You said we were going to take this slow so we wouldn't hurt our friendship"
"Kat...I just didn't want to ruin what we had. Our friendship was to good to be ruined by some feelings we had"
"Ethan don't you get it? It's already ruined"

"Then tell me how to fix it" He whispered loud enough for me to hear.
"Leave Meredith"
"Kat she did nothing bad to me or you! I can't just leave her"
"Ethan you don't even believe me"
"Okay wait... just tell me what makes you think she's a bad person"
"Along with the fact that she broke your heart"
And then I told him everything. How she locked Jenny and me out of the tour bus.
To how she faked losing her hair.
To how she cheated on him with that guy in the restaurant.
"So that was why Jenny was acting so weird that night" he started to catch on.
"She just wanted you to see what Meredith was doing"
"Kate is this true or are you playing with me?"
"Ethan if you don't believe me. Go check out Meredith's hair. See if she really lost it or if she's faking it."
"I can't just go and ask her. I have a better idea"
I liked where that was going...
"Let us just make sure Jenny's feeling better and trust me, I have a huge surprise for Meredith at our show tonight. I'm sure Gray will be down for it too"
