Move on they said. Life should go on.
She's in a better place now.
No. I could never move on.
I could never forget her.
Never forget my bestfriend was no more alive.
Died at a young age.

No one even knew where Grayson was. As soon as we got back from Venice he took off.
I couldn't blame him. He loved her deeply and forgetting the love of your life was never easy.
"Babe" Ethan held my hand.
"It's been more than a month and..."
"Don't you dare start Ethan"
"I'm just worried about you. You don't eat, you don't drink. Just because Jenny died doesn't mean you should too!"
"You did not just say that!" I yelled.
"Baby I loved her. From the bottom of my heart and you know that. But you also know she would never have wanted you to act like this"

I wanted to scream. To just shout. But deep inside I knew he was right.
She wouldn't have wanted me to starve myself. She wanted me to live a happy life with Ethan. And remember all the good times she and I spent together. I was trying to move on but I couldn't.

People thought it was easy but I'm asking you this right now. Can you ever forget your bestfriend?

"Let's get some fresh air" He added.
"Maybe get some icecream. What do you say?"
"I don't know"
"Come on"
"Fine"
We came accross the cinema. Where the four of us used to watch movies.
"Remember when we watched the conjuring?" I asked Ethan.
"Yeah. You were so scared" he smiled.
"I remember Jenny telling me that you and I are going to be a couple. But I didn't believe her. Because of that Meredith thing that happened"
"Well Jenny was right. And I'm grateful to everything she has done to bring you and I back together"

"Without her I would have probably failed in making you realize Meredith was no good for you. We would have never dated. And I would have been alone without her here"
"But you have me. And I will always be right next to you"
"And that's what keeps me going"

"Now I just have to find Grayson. He can't stay away for this long. It's been a month and he hasn't even called or visited. I don't know where he is and I'm so worried something bad might have happened to him"
"We will find him Eth don't worry. He's still messed up after what happened. You know how much he loved her"
"Love is an amazing thing. But can break a person's heart in less than a minute"

We got back home. We were in Jersey back then.
Ethan loved it there.
It was the kind of place someone would grow up. Have a family. Raise kids, just live a normal life.
And that's everything I wanted.
To live with Ethan. To be his wife. To grow old with him. Laugh with him. Cry with him.
I didn't care what happened as long as we were together.

"It's almost 11pm and it's getting cold. You should get some sleep" Ethan said as he saw me sitting next to the window.
"The moon is so beautiful tonight. It reminds me of when we went on tour and Jenny and I used to have short walk at night"
"It does look beautiful. But not as beautiful as you" he kissed my forehead.
"Now come on. Let me get you in bed"
He picked me up and lead me to the bedroom where he gently put me in bed and covered me with the soft sheets that were on it.
"Goodnight baby" he said.
"Goodnight Ethan"
