KATE'S POV
It's been almost a year since it happened.
Believe me it seems like yesterday.
"Can we go somewhere?" Ethan asks.
"Like where?"
"I may have an idea. Come on" he pulls me by the hand and leads me to the car.
"Tell me where"
"You'll see"
We've been driving for hours.
But then I finally realize where we are.
"Ethan!" I said as I got out of the car.
We're at the same hill where we first said we liked eachother.
"This brings so many memories I just can't" I start smiling like an idiot.
"Well...I got us some food so we can spend they day here"
"This is amazing Eth"
We sat on the hill and there was nothing but flowers all around is.
"This is like a twilight scene" I start laughing. " like seriously we're sitting surrounded by purple flowers"
"You're right" Ethan smiled.
"Hey Eth"
"Yeah?"
"If you had the chance to start things all over again. What would you have changed?"
He's sitting there looking at the distance like he's thinking about what he was going to say.
"The truth?"
I nod.
"I wouldn't have changed a thing. Because no matter what happened. It lead me to you. And that's what I'm grateful for the most"
I can't help but smile at the fact that he didn't regret meeting me.
It's getting dark. But the sunset is beautiful. Our view from the hill is just too perfect.
"Oh God remember when we first met?"
"How can I not? I was so scared you wouldn't like me" I say clearly remembering our meet and greet.
"I didn't actually think I would see you again kat. But I'm glad I did. Because honestly, I can't imagine how my life would have been without you"
"I'm also glad I saw you again back then Eth. Imagine how lucky I am to have the Ethan Dolan as my boyfriend"
"Uhm kat"
"Yeah"
"Not to be rude or anything but..."
"But what?" Obvioulsy I'm kinda worried about what he has to say.
"Who said I was your boyfriend?"
Someone kill me now.
"I'm sorry Eth we were spending so much time and I thought..."
As I was speaking. He gets up and holds my hand to get me to my feet aswell.
"Ethan what is going on"
"Kate, it's been more then a couple of years now. Yeah it's been mostly drama and sadness. But I can never say I didn't enjoy spending these two years with you"
"Ethan..."
"I know it's been just a year since Jenny. But Kat life moves on. Grayson is okay now and he's living a normal life! Something we never thought would happen"
"Yeah and I'm happy he is"
"What I'm trying to say is I want to live a normal life with you. Grow old with you..."
Oh God. OH GOD.
"I want to love you. The right way. So I Ethan Grant Dolan get down on one knee to ask you Kate to be my wife. To live your life with me. To have a family with me. To grow old with me. Kate will you marry me?"
I...I..Oh fuck it. Heck yeah.
"Yes! Oh my God yes!!"
He slipped the ring onto my finger and instantly locked his lips with mine.
"I'm not your boyfriend. I'm you husband and I'll make you the happiest girl alive"
"I know you will Ethan. I know"
And you know. Maybe if Jenny didn't push me to have actual confidence in myself and act normal aroud Ethan whenever we met him and Grayson.
We wouldn't have been where we are right now.
And I'm grateful for everything that happened in my life. Especially meeting her.
