Chapter 26

I sit in my room listening to music and drinking a bottle of vodka. I currently had a lot of missed calls.

I see someone walk in and I see Damon.

"What the hell?" I stand up stumbling slightly.

"What?"

"Are you seriously getting drunk?"

"Yup."

"Elena tried to sacrifice herself to Klaus and Stefan is stuck in the tomb with Katherine!"

"Sucks for them."

"What is the matter with you."

I look at Damon. "Nothing."

"Caitlin don't lie." I sigh.

"I'm going to be a vampire Damon. I have to act like I'm fine when inside I'm dying!" I sigh and I set the bottle down. Damon gives me a sad look and hugs me. I bury my face into his neck and I let it all out.

The next day I sit in my room and I hear my phone ring. "Hello?"

"Caitlin?"

"Tyler. Are you okay?" Tyler had triggered the curse and tonight was the full moon.

"Yeah you?"

"Yup." lie.

"That's good I just needed to talk to you make sure you were still human."

"Yeah I'm still human."

"Okay well I have to go. Bye."

"Bye." I hang up and I sigh.

I look around. I was currently in the park.

"I'm going to keep Elena safe as long as I can." I turn to see Elijah.

"Thank you. I appreciate it." he nods and turns to leave But he then turns back around.

"Lana told me that she made a deal with you but she will not repeat it." I sigh.

"I told her I would let Klaus turn me on one condition. She makes sure I do not spend eternity with him. To make sure I stay in Mystic Falls." Elijah nods and leaves.

The next day I stand in Damon's living room. He walked downstairs a sad look on his face. Rose was bitten by a werewolf and I knew he had just killed her. I walked to ward him.

"I'm sorry I know that she was your friend." Damon sighs and hugs me. I hug back and I sigh.

The next day I walk to my car but the door doesn't open. I look confused and I turn around to see Bonnie.

"Bonnie I need my car."

"Sorry. You can't go anywhere."

I sigh. I knew why. She didn't want me to die.

"Fine." I mumble as I walk inside.

I was going crazy in this house. Bonnie wouldn't let me out the whole time. I hear the door open. "Finally Bonnie can I leave now?!" I turn to see Tyler and a man and Woman.

"Caitlin this is Jules and Brady."

I waves slightly.

"This is Caitlin."

Brady walks up to me. "What bloodline do you belong to?"

"Mikaelson..."

"Klaus?! The vampire?" i nod.

Jules smiles. "Have you triggered the curse?"

I shake my head. "I don't plan on."

"Why? You can tell us."

I look at Tyler. "I cant."

"Is it about the vampires?" he asks. I look confused.

"Yes actually." Lana says from behind them.

"She can't complete the transition because my twin Klaus is going to turn her into a vampire."

I look down and I sigh.
