Chapter 41

The next morning I start to drive back and I get a call from Damon. "Meet me at the warehouse. Klaus is there and we made a deal with Elijah."

"Alright." he hangs up and I drove faster. When I get there I see Alaric and Klaus dead. I freeze. Klaus being dead meant me and Tyler would definitely die. Caroline, Damon, and Stefan would probably die but we weren't sure. Alaric being dead meant one thing. Elena died. I saw Damon sitting against the wall. He looked up to see me and ran up to me using vamp speed. I could see tears threatening to fall down his face. I hugged him immediately. I was going to die.

I was on my porch. How am I still alive? Bonnie was trying to figure out if there was a way for Elena to live without completing the transition. I look up to see pastor young. "Pastor Young. It's great to see you." he doesn't say anything and I look confused. He shoots me three times with Vervain laced wooden bullets. He drags me into the van and pushes me in. I black out.

When I wake up I see Elena, Stefan, and Rebekah. I try to get out I pull my hand away. "It's Vervain." Rebekah mumbles. I sigh and then I realize something my eyes widen.

"What is it?" Stefan asks.

"Its not covered in wolfsbane..." Rebekah looks at me.

"You're crazy."

"It's worth a shot." I mumble. "You won't wanna look."

Elena's P.O.V.

"This is crazy!" Rebekah yells.

"We don't have any other ideas." Stefan states. I look away.

"Just do it." I mumble. I was weak from not drinking blood. That's when the bones cracking and the screaming starts.

When the screaming stops I turn back to look at Caitlin and I see a huge wolf. We all share the same look of shock. Caitlin runs into the cell door making it break. She looks at us and goes to mine and she breaks it open. She goes to Stefan's. Then Rebekah's. We all walk out. We hear her growl and we see a guard. Caitlin attacks him. She backs away from his body. She looks at me and then the body. I knew what she wanted. I bent down to the body and I touched the blood. I brought it up to my mouth. Once I tasted it I felt so much better and I hated that feeling. Caitlin rushes out and we follow. She runs off to the woods and I sigh.

Caitlin's P.O.V.

When I wake up I look around. I was in the woods. I closed my eyes trying to remember what happened. The only thing I remember is killing that guard. I sigh and I stand up. I look around and I hear a couple people talking. I walk over but I keep hidden. I see a couple arguing and I spot a pile of clothes. I grab it and I walk away getting dressed.
