"let go of me!" i shout at the girl. 

she struggles to keep me under control. she groans and stops, holding me in place she slaps me and shoots me a dirty look. "stop fighting. i'm not going to hurt you. but you need to learn about your history, and sinse derek is on lock down with your father he can't teach you. so he asked me to help"

completely shocked my mouth opens and closes like a fish. the words need more time to process than my brain. "h-h-how do you know about my history?" 

she chuckles and lets go of me, knowing i won't fight back anymore. "my mom used to be friends with your mom.. before she knew what she was. thinking your mom was an ally, my mom was volnerable.. and jackie killed her" she pauses. "i gues this is my way of vengence and avenging my mother's death. getting you prepared for what is going to come, so no one else gets hurt and jackie is put to a stop once and for all" 

i gulp. i knew jackie was vicious, but i didn't think she would kill anyone..

"and how do you expect me to stop what she does? you obviously know how bad she can get.. how i am i supposed to stop her?" i ask.

she smirks. "i thought you'd never ask"

"first" she turns away from me and grabs my arm again. "you have to learn what you are. then you'll realise what you're capable of.. and that's where i come in. i help you control your abiilities so you don't get too out of control and turn into jackie.. but much much worse, because you are so much more powerful. if you were evil.." she shutters and continues yanking me to the woods. "i can't even begin.. now. we have to start you're training. and since you're not talking to your father-" i growl and her eyes widen. "and that's a sensitive subject.. noted" she nods to herself.

Jessica is not the girl i pegged her to be..

"you have so much potential Layla" she smiles. "you just need to learn what you can do" 

i nod and she smiles again before she continues yanking me.

when i hear the screams coming from brent.. turn into the sound of ripping fabric and low growls, i know it's time to be serious. 

jessica yanks me one last time and i peer around the tree in front of us to see the three guys in their varsity jackets holding a large golden wolf back with chains. 

my eyes widen and i look at jessica who is smirking at the wolf. when she walks towards the wolf i go balistic. "what the hell are you doing?!" i scream.

"shh" she shushes me, not taking her eyes off the golden creature. 

she gets closer, close enough where the chains are loose enough so he can ounce on her. i just watch waiting for it to happen, can't say i didn't warn her.

the wolf growls, but surprises me when he stops growling and whines wagging his tail. he pounces on her like i expected, but instead of chewing her face off.. he's licking it.

she giggles and runs her fingers throught the long thick hair of the wolf. the wolf continues to lick her until she tell him to stop and he gets off, allowing her to stand up.

"See, simple. .. but it only works for your mate. any other wolf will pounce, and kill you" she says walking back towards me.

i nod, still shocked the wolf did that.

"now you try" 

her words stun me.

"i-i-i can't do that" i shake my head vigerously. there was no way i was putting myself in danger, just hoping the wolf won't kill me. no. uh-uh. no way. not gunna happen.
