I didn't need to look to know that the dog she was referring to was Julius. Crack!
"Wolf, not dog. And I'm her mate." He had shifted back by now and when I turned around to look at him, he was completely... I quickly turned back to face Alice. Oh.
"I didn't see anything, I promise." I bit my lower lip, embarrased.
Alice, however, was still staring.
"I'm seeing everything." She replies.
"Alice!" I slapped her arm.
"What? Sheesh."
