I take a deep breath. In my hand was the tiny plastic capsule thay encased silver powder. Screwing open my water bottle, I broke the capsule. Tiny silver flakes falls onto the half-filled bottle. Screwing back the cap, I give it a good shaking.

After a solid 30 seconds, I stopped my shaking to observe the concoction. I gulped. Here goes nothing, I tell myself. I hesitate in putting the the bottle to my lips, before quickly trying to swallow it down. A major burning sensation coats my mouth. The water gets stuck in my throat and I choke. Coughing and spluttering, I hit my throat multiple times to try and get the liquid out.

Silver liquid and few dots of red splatter over the toilet sink. Oh no.

My head suddenly pounds, harder this time, and I groan.

"Are you done drinking it?" Alice's soft voice comes through the toilet door. She has been waiting all this time for me to drink my medication. Poor thing, she's never actually seen me take it before. This time, she insisted she be with me through it. I told her to wait outside in case anything happens.

I don't answer her and spit out the blood I tasted in my mouth. Dammit. I wipe my lips with my arm. It's been getting harder to swallow the darn thing. Yay me.

A faint voice in my head, that sounded like distant screaming, said don't.

Don't drink it.

"Andrea?"

Fuck it.

I kept my bottle in my bag and sighed. On second thought, I took it out and dumped the contents into the sink. Making sure it was empty, i put it back into my bag.

"Coming!" I called back to Alice as I let the tap run, taking away any reminents of silver liquid on the sink.

I reminded myself to take one later on. Ma has a bunch of these. She told me that my 'previous owner' has been constantly sending her the capsules since the beginning. Warned her that my pains will most likely happen or be the strongest during days of full moon. Seems like a bunch of bull to me, since the 'medicine' itself also brings me pain. Regardless, I've never skipped a pill.

"Wow, you seem fine." Alice comments, pursing her lips. She's never seem me drink the medication, but she has definitely caught glimpse of the after effects. She puts on arm around my waist and the other on my shoulder, trying to give support. "Well, i'll keep you upright if you faint. But if you are going psycho, give me a little warning."

By psycho, it means I start scratching myself like i'm 'clawing at myself to get something out'. Quote was according to Alice. I've got scars from past experiences of me doing that. That's why I ensure my nails are cut short every few days.

She escorts me to our math class. The moment we step through the doors though, the entire class' eyes land on us. Whispers and murmurs go through. Definitely some stank eyes too. Alice's hand tighten around my waist as she notices their staring.

I looked at her. She gives a tiny smile that no one except me, will ever notice to be fake. She's great at acting. She looks at the teacher, apologetically. "Are we late, Miss Liza?"

Miss Liza looks at her then at me with sympathy. She's seen me break down before and know how bad it is for me. She shakes her head and gives a real smile. "No, I just started. Please, take a seat."

Ignoring a few remarks that was clearly meant for us the hear, we give a quick bow and went to the back of the class at our usual seats. As usual, a brooding Drew at the corner stares at me intensely. Usually, I ignore him because Alice tells me he just has a stupid crush on me. I can still remember the awkward conversation we had.
