Ruffnut's P.O.V
"Don't put the wood down there, idiot!" I said shoving my brother as he tried to put the wood we had found down in a puddle.
"Why not?" he asked putting the wood to the side of the puddle.
"Because then the wood will get wet and it won't catch alight" I said as though I was talking to a two year old, which wasn't that hard as Tuffnut and 2 year olds conveniantly have a lot in common.
"Oh" He said and took the wood over to a dry patch and began piling it up.
"You can't do it like that because the grass will catch fire." I exclaimed slapping my forehead.
"Well you come and do it then if you know so much about it" said Tuff sulkily kicking the wood and walking away.
I sighed stupid incompetant brother. I began picking up the wood and carrying it over to the cool stones by the shore of the nesting grounds, why Astrid had chosen to come here of all places, honestly if the Outcasts found out we were here it would be pretty bad.
I heard a scream and dropped the wood I was holding, I looked over and saw Astrid wailing as she held Hiccup.
"Astrid whats wrong" I shouted running over to her.
"It's Hiccup," she said a hand resting on his chest as she held him close to her his body was limp. "His heart's not beating"
