Walking up to base Sam was being the 'gentleman' he was and carrying my bag along with his 20.
"Jeez, woman where did you get the money to afford all these clothes?", my dad asked walking up.
"They aren't mine.", all he did was stand there with an awestruck look on his face when he saw me pick up my one bag and walk away, afterwords hearing a smack and seeing a sulking Sam. Oi.
Back in room
Grabbing my suitcase I stuffed my dress in the bottom along with the bow-tie and converse. Throwing some clothes, undergarments & extra toothpaste, brush, toothbrush, charger, and pit-stick I zip it up and jump on my bed. Living in the barracks doesn't always mean that we sleep in bunk beds since I'm the only female it has its perks. Including having your own room and since I did I decorated the way I wanted. The blue walls were just light enough that you could tell it wasn't a guys room along with the bed with really fluffy pillows. It also kinda helped that there was a sign saying who's room it was on the outside.
Falling asleep was a lot easier than one might think. Waking up... not so much. Rolling out of bed I remembered that dream I had and was questioning why I had it.

Dream
She was hiding behind my tree when... 'I found you'
'No fair you smelt me!'
'Did not!'
'That's enough.' A woman I hadn't noticed before said before standing next to a man I swear looked like a younger version of my dad.' Wouldn't it be nice if they were mates.'
'Mommy what's a mate?' the young girl questioned.
'Nothing honey, go play with-' her sentence was cut off by a scream, more exact her scream. 'Olivia run! Run as fast as you can and don't look back!' So she did, she ran to her hiding spot her friend with her until the man from earlier came.
'Daddy's got you. Daddy's got you.'
'Where's mommy?'
'She can't be here anymore hon.'

I wonder what a mate is just like that girl asked. Oh well, can't dwell on the past. Getting dressed I grabbed my bag I packed and put it by my door.
Since we don't leave until noon I'm headed for training.
"Good morning class!", I said in a 'happy teacher' tone. The funny thing is I think some of them were expecting an easy day. "As most of you know I'm going to be gone for a while. Now... that does not mean you can slack off! My friend Jo here will be watching us today as he will be my 'substitute' while I'm gone."
Jo is what we call an interesting character. The reason I say this is because he's much more... gangly than the normal person. I met him in school and we decided that since both of us were military brats that if one of us got to be a trainer the other would 'sub' while the other would do what they were doing. He thought he'd be a trainer but he's actually 3rd in command, but our deal still holds. So when I called him up the yesterday he said he'd be by tomorrow. And low and behold he is.
"Ok everyone for our warm-up today...
