"Hey guys..." Ashley walks into the computer room all depressed.
"Hey, is something wrong?" Yolei asked, tilting her head to the side. "And where's Kaleb?"
"Oh he had to meet someone." For a fraction of second her eyes held hatred and anger, before having a sheepish look to them. "I actually just came to get Tsunomon and Paomon. We can't go to the Digital World today, as much as we wished we could." she had a sad smile on her face as she picked up her partner.
"No big deal, we'll be fine. You'll just have to join us next time!" Davis stated, making Ashley smile and nod.
"Right, we'll join next time." Her new bright blue and purple watch beeped, telling her she had to go. "Got to go. See you guys tomorrow!" She bowed and left in a hurry, her and her brother's partners in her black duffle.
"Something seems off." TK said once she left.
"So you've noticed too." Cody looked up at the older boy.
"When I walked to school with her and her brother... something seemed to be bothering them." Kari mentioned. "I don't think they've told us their whole story."
"Don't they know that they can trust us!?" Davis questioned rather loudly.
"Davis, I'm sure there is a perfect explanation for this." Cody scolded the older boy.
"Guys!" Sora had slammed the computer room's door open, clad in her the clothes she wears during tennis practice. "It's Biyomon! She's in trouble!"
-
While the other attend to the matter with Biyomon, the duo from America are meeting with someone at the park. "Ashley, Kaleb! It's been too long!"
"Stop your acting already." Ashley glared at the raven haired boy boy. The boy was wearing black shades, a blue short sleeved shirt, and a pair of white khakis.
"Alright fine. I only flew all the way here to tell you both something." the boy replied. "There's something brewing, I don't know what, but you might have to use Altega."
"You know what will happen if we do." Ashley glared at him. "After all Aaron, you're the one who urged Tammy to use it."
Aaron sighed. "It  was either she'd use it or Skullsatamon wins." He looked up at her. "Who know this Ashley."
"Who do you know that either of them are going to survive it's power." Tsunomon jumped in front of his partner. "Tammy was lucky."
"I forgot... what is the Altega?"
"Gah! How could you be so forgetful!" Kaleb chided, though he wish he could forget what the Altega is.
"The Altega... it's an immense power that can boost a Digimon's, or human being's, strength even more. The first Digidestined to have arrived in the Digital World had used it in their last battle for the Digital World." Ashley looked down at the grass. "Ornismon was given the Altega to protect it. To keep it from the wrong hands... and to protect the ones who aren't strong enough to hold it's power."
"Oh yeah that." Paomon sighed.
"You might have to resort to using it one day." Aaron sighed. "Listen I'm sorry about the past. Just know I'm a phone call away." He smiled sadly and left.
"Do you trust him?" Ashley asked once he was out of ear shot.
"I'm not sure. Let's go and see if the others are back yet." Kaleb walked towards the school, Paomon in his arms, Ashley following with Tsunomon in her duffle.
-
When the duo got there everyone had just come back looking mentally defeated, along with a someone they weren't familiar with. They told her what happened and that the girl was Sora.
"If I was there I would've beaten all of your guys' socks of at that card game!" Ashley boasted.
"As if you could!" Davis and Ashley started arguing.
"What happened? I thought  you guys were finally getting along." Demiveemon said staring at the two curiously.
"That's because Ashley has been feeling stressed lately, so she wasn't acting like her usual self before." Tsunomon said.
"Well that's interesting." Said TK, everyone having heard Tsunomon's statement.
Ashley looked embarrassed, her little truth having come out. "Tsunomon! It wasn't your place to say!" Ashley complained, and scolded Tsunomon, somehow, at the same time.
"Heh, it's in our DNA. It happens to me too." Kaleb said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. " Actually, it started when..."
"..."
"When?" Davis stared at the two waiting for either of them to finish that sentence.
"Gah! Forget we said anything!" Ashley huffed crossing her arms. "We can't tell you anything because it's something you can't know just yet."
"Oh come on! Please!" Davis begged.
"No!"
"You know you guys act like mom and dad." Kaleb mentioned offhandedly.
Ashley's face flushed. "W-what!? Don't say stuff like that Kaleb!"
"What's bad about being compared to your parent's?" Cody asked.
"You don't know our parents." Ashley stated and hid herself away under a table.
Everyone was laughing. They needed something like this to break away the tensions.
-
-
I know not everyone was there for the Biyomon thing, and it was early, but I needed go deeper into some stuff I honestly forgot to cover like Altega. Well... there's actually more about it so yeah...
So... will I ever stop asking questions? Adios~
