Someone points to the sky. "Hey look, a shooting star!" You look above to see a meteor entering the mesosphere and then disappearing. "Oh, right, a meteor," you say in reply. They turn to you with a smile on their face. "Make a wish!"
Everyone wishes for different things. I usually wish for a portal or an alternate universe to escape in my times of stress. I wish for SO many different things now that I'm older. When I was younger, I'd wish for Pokemon to exist (which is an actual bad thing cuz I mean seriously, who wants a frickin' Raichu. It can kill an elephant with ONE SHOCK. (Check the Pokedex entry if you don't believe me. I don't remember which game it was from though...) Or who wants a Drowzee eating your dreams? Seriously...). I also wished to have FNAF exist. GOD WHAT WAS I THINKING?! Animatronics that are haunted by the spirits of children? And they come to life at 12 a.m to try and kill the nightguard just cuz he doesn't have a suit on? AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON HOW TERRIFYING IT WOULD BE IF THE BITE OF '87 HAPPENED AGAIN.
I'm sure people have had wishes relating to mine. Wishing for things that don't exist to exist. (To all your fangirls out there, wishing for your OTP or favorite character to exist).
And some people just want to see the world burn.
