"Climb up the H of the Hollywood sign
In these stolen moments the world is mine."
-Lust for life🖤🖤🖤
Another day was rising up and the sun was shining bright today.
Wasn't my kind of day.
Me and the girls decided to hit the beach today, but first we had to get some breakfast down our stomachs or else the grumpiness wouldn't be bearable.
The summer days were running fast and I couldn't do anything to stop it. That's not really my kind of season, but the cloudy days make it much better.
I'd much rather walk on the sidewalks of the cobblestone streets of an old French city. Or sit on one of the old-fashioned cafes and sip on fresh cold lemonade.
I let out a sigh at the thought.
The summer dress I had on was flowing in the air as I skipped down the stairs. Niomi was already waiting for me downstairs with an iced coffee in her hand.
I walked over to her, grinning and took the caffeinated drink from her.
"Thank you for the coffee." I sipped from it and let out a satisfied sigh, "Iced coffee is my life."
"That coffee was my life," she turned to glare at me, "until you took it from me."
A guilty smile covered the half of my face as I stepped closer, wrapped my arm around her and hugged her slightly.
"You know, I love you, right?" I looked up at my best friend whilst she kept her glare on me before letting out a chuckle.
"You owe me breakfast, Flo," She said as she turned around towards the front door.
Rolling my eyes I threw my denim backpack over my shoulder and grabbed the keys.
"Yeah, yeah," I muttered as I walked out of the house behind her, "don't you worry."
After locking the door, we got into her jet black car and headed towards our cafe.
With the girls we had our usual spot.
A small vintage coffee shop that had the best cupcakes ever. And anything sweet you can imagine. Oh, and the best iced coffee. Another plus, for the girls, was that the shop is close to the beach. So right after breakfast we can quickly get there.
"So," I glanced towards the girls, once we've all gathered outside the store. Although Cara and Sienna couldn't come, we still decided to go. All of use wore sundresses, except Nat, she hated them. "Are we eating breakfast here or are we taking it to the beach?" They all shrugged in response.
"Maybe we could eat here but then take something to eat later at the beach?" Vivianne suggested and we all nodded, agreeing.
"Yeah, because you'll most likely get hungry and force us all to get back here to eat." Nat said jokingly and rolled her eyes, making us all chuckle.
By the time we finished eating the clock was coming close to 10am and the sun was burning our heads as we walked to the rocky beach.
Nope, definitely not my favorite thing.
But we found the perfect spot next to a tree so that we could sunbathe and not get burnt harshly under the striking sunlights.
