Third period was finally over.
I walked out of class and caught up with Brandon.
"So, you were just gonna lead me?" he asked.
"Miss me with that guilt shit." I said.
"I'm not trying to guilt trip you, I'm just kinda shocked." he said.
"What was I supposed to do Brandon? Wait around the rest of my life hoping you'd come back? You said yourself you had 2 girlfriends while you were gone" I said rolling my eyes.
We stopped at my locker and he turned to where he was standing right in front of me.
"You didn't think that maybe if I came back if still have feelings for you?" he asked.
"No,I didn't." I looking away from him.
"Summer, the love we had could stretch past the moon and back." he said.
"Well you know it won't be hard for you to find someone. You're very popular among the female species." I replied.
"Am I hearing a hint of jealousy in your voice?" he asked smirking.
I slammed my locker shut. "Jealousy?! I have no reason to be jealous of any girl you date because I've already had you. " I said irritated.
"So if you weren't taken you wouldn't take me back?" Brandon asked.
"Is that even relevant? Are you trying to talk me out of my relationship?" I asked.
"NO! I would never try to do that. As long as you're happy Summer." he replied.
I sighed.
"Yes Brandon I am happy." I said.
"Okay then." he said. I looked up at him. His eyes were shining. Like they used to whenever we were together.
"Brandon!!" The Witch screeched.
"No." Brandon said rolling his eyes.
"Shit, not you again." I said.
"Oh shut up. Why are you even talking to Brandon anyway? Don't you already have a boyfriend." she said glaring at me.
Well at least she's not bitter. (Sarcasm)
"I can talk to guys without flirting with them unlike you. And you have a boyfriend too might I add." I snapped.
"No,Blake and I broke up last week. So I'm back on the market." she said winking at Brandon.
He rolled his eyes and I gaged.
"I can't stand being around her." I said as I started to walk away.
"But Summer,we were having a conversation." Brandon said.
"We can talk later. Bye." I said and kept walking.
Jason came up beside me.
"I don't appreciate you flirting with Brandon." he said jokingly.
"Babe, that's the least of your worries." I said smirking.
"Good,cause your all mine." he said as he put his arm around me.
"Let's hope it stays that way" I said.
"Trust me, it will." Jason said holding me tighter.
The fucking floodgates have been opened, and I just might drown in the flood.
