AN: Sorry I haven't updated this story in such a long time. I just started doing other things and kind of forgot about updating this story, but I'm back now. It's been awhile since I wrote this book and this book is the last time I wrote in 1st person point of view. I have been writing in third person point of view for a long time and so I honestly can't write in 1st anymore, I always end up going back to third, so sorry if you liked this story in 1st, but I can't write like that anymore. I'm switching to third point of view for this book now. I hope you don't mind it.

'Embry' All the wolves froze as they hear this. It is a known fact that only quileutes can be shifters and they all know Embry is not a quileute, or at least he's not supposed to be. His mom moved from a different tribe and came and lived here. Everyone thought his father was from that tribe, but everyone also thought girls couldn't be shifters or that Amelia wasn't a quileute and yet here she is apart of the pack.

Sam looks at them and they all were trying not to show their thoughts, but they all knew the thought was going through their mind, 'do we tell him', but Sam shakes his head, letting them that he wants to wait to tell Embry. 'Hello?' Embry calls, his voice a bit less scared then before.

'Amy, Paul, Luna, you three go ahead back. Jared and I got this.' Amelia and Paul nod as they head back the way they came. Luna and Amy changed into the clothes that awaited them and Paul went and changed in a different direction.

"I thought Embry was Makah."

"His mother is, but..." Amelia sighs and looks at Luna. "But we had all thought my mom was Renee, the same mother of Bella, but that isn't true."

"So you're saying Embry's father must be apart of this tribe?"

"Well why would his mother move here of all places? There had to be a reason, it must have been that Embry's father was here."

"Then why not tell his father about Embry or tell Embry about his father?"

"Luna... If you have to think about it the legends tells of a small pack, there is only three main family blood lines in the legends."

"Black, Uley, and Ateara." Luna frown as she says this. "Does that mean Embry is either Jake's, Sam's, or Quil's half brother?"

"Yup, which is why he didn't know nor does anyone. All three of the possible candidates were already married, one already had a son."

"What does this mean?" Luna asks.

"It means one of the possible fathers had an affair and Sam's dad is the most likely one."

"How do you know that?"

"Jared told me that Sam's dad got kicked out of the house when Sam was only seven because his dad kept sleeping around and doing other bad things. I guess Sam's dad has a bad record."

"Is Sam going to tell Embry?" Luna asks as they walk onto the beach once more.

"I don't know. This is more severe than when it was me. My mom never was married and sure my dad was, but... But my dad only had another daughter, Embry could have three different people being his brother."

"Yeah, I agree with that, but he deserves to know."

"I know and when Sam decides he should know then Embry will be told, but until then we just got to go with it." The two girls walk up the steps and enter the small home of Sam's once more. "Hey Emily."

"Hey girls, did you guys find the new wolf."

"Yeah, it's Embry." Emily looks over in surprise at Luna's words, while Tyler looked a bit confused.

"What's the big deal in that?"

"He's supposed to be from the Makah tribe." Amelia says as she sits at the table. "And I think Sam probably came to the same conclusion as Luna and I."

"Which is?" Tyler asks.

"Which is that either Sam, Quil, or Jake is Embry's brother."

"Shit, that's heavy stuff." Tyler says, causing Amelia to nod.

"Yeah, which is why we're going to let Sam tell him seeing how he could very well be Embry's brother."

The girls and Paul were already eating when Sam returned with Jared and Embry, the group was busy talking about things as natural as what the weather was going to be like the next day, acting as if they all forgot about the other three guys. "You guys started without us?" Jared asks in a sad tone, causing Tyler to give a guilty smile.

"Sorry, Jar."

"Did you fill Embry in?" Amelia asks, causing Sam to nod.

"Yeah." He tells them, but his eyes told them that he left out a certain part.

"Even that he's not Makah?" Paul asks, not understanding the look. Embry looked taken aback at those words, while Paul pays him not mind.

"You're such a moron." Amelia mumbles.

"I'm not what?" Embry asks.

"Wait... you didn't tell him?"

"Paul, I love you but you seriously need to understand certain looks." Luna tells him, while Embry sat down, looking whiter than snow.

"Em, you okay?" Amelia asks as she places a hand on his hand.

"What did Paul mean?" He looks at his ex best friend with fear clearly in his eyes.

"You have to be quileute to be apart of the pack. You can phase without the blood of a quileute."

"But my mom-

"What Amy is trying to say, Embry is that your dad is quileute." Embry frown and looks up at Jared. "And your dad.... he has to be either Sam's, Jake's, or Quil's."

"I...." Embry shakes his head, he felt numb with this news, but he had no idea what he should say or do in this type of situation. "What does that make me?"

"A bastard." Everyone hit Paul as he said this.

"Paul don't be a jackass." Luna snaps.

"Yeah, Paul like honestly." Amelia glares at him.

"Paul, learn to shut up." Jared growls.

"Seriously, Paul?" Tyler snaps.

"Paul." Emily gasps. Everyone said all this at once, giving Sam a ragging headache.

"Shut up all of you!" Sam yelled, causing them all to fall silent. "Embry, don't listen to Paul. It doesn't matter who your father is, you're apart of this pack now and that means you are now apart of our family." These words will forever change the course of things in the pack. Everything will be different from here on out.
