I cant go back to how things used to be , no matter how much I want . I continued to watch her I really don't do this but something was pulling me to watch her. She isn't like all the other girls at my school, for one her style is unique and i don't know she's just she's just sooo.....special. It sounds cliche but she is. She got up and switched the record to another old song. She sat on her bed and grabbed one of her books from the walls. That's actually pretty dangerous like what if one falls on her or something?
She layed down while crossing both of her legs in the air,she bit her lip in concentration .i smiled she still does that. "Yoooo what you doing" ethan jumped on my bed i snapped out of my stare. "Nothin why?" "dude whatcha lookin at?"he sat next to me and looked out my window
"oh its just her,ugh what is she listening to?"i rolled my eyes""i don't ethan why don't you ask her "i said annoyed. "Ok"he said stupidly while walking over to the balcony."hey nerd what are you listening to?"i sat there seeing what was happening. She stopped reading and walked outside her balcony and yelled like ethan did across the yard"its called fleetwood mac and leave me alone"she closed both doors to her balcony. Ethan walked back in."what the hell is fleetwood mac?"
"It was this 70's band with stevie nicks"i said plainy while looking at my phone."oh,don't know and don't care"he shrugged his shoulders and left.i rolled my eyes and murmered "of course you don't" anyways i grabbed my school laptop and went on all my classes to see if i got any assignments. I have three assighnments and 1 project and i don't even know who's my partner but i guess I'll find out tomorrow.so i decided to work on my homework
Ruby's pov
After i closed my balcony doors i started to work on any assignments i had and the project i had to wait to tell grayson about it and go over it.
I was almost done when my mom knocked on my door and walked in. "Hey how does Chinese sound for tonight?" i luaghedm a little "yeah sure mom" she smiled she was about to walk back out until she saw my legs. Freak i forgot about the bruising.
"Ruby what happened to your knees"she asked softly. "Oh this i tripped in the hallways mommy and landed on my knees "i said while laughing trying to convince her"you know how mich of a clumsy daughter you have"she smiled and let out a giglle too. "Yeah i do huh"she walked out. I layed back down on my bed and sighed "phew that was close" i sat back up and opened my balcony.
It was already night time so i needed fresh air in my room. I turned on some fairy lights i had hanging outside all over the balcony. My mommy had set it up a month ago and i love it plus its better than an boring light switch. I walked back in my room and put everything away and carefully removed the record and put it back in its case. "Ruby the food is here!""ok mommy im coming" i walked downstairs to eat.

I was laying down on my bed watching tv when i heard"ok mommy im coming"i looked over my balcony and saw that she opened her doors again. Her room was pretty cool and vintage very different from every other girls bedroom I've seen.
