GRAYSONS POV
I looked down at her and she was curled up into my chest. Her pale face went perfectly along with her pink stained cheeks. Her plumped cranberry stained lips that looked kissable and that had always called my attention. And the way the moonlight shined on her. I don't understand why people would call her ugly. Even when i was under peer pressure and called her names that's one name that had never slipped out of my mouth. She's beautiful.
She has always been. I think thats why we had a stronger bond when we were smaller. Because i understood her potentiality and who she is and where she comes from. I moved her brown hair out her face and tucked it behind her ear. I smiled as her head was in the curve of my elbow and her hands holding onto my shirt near my stomach. The back of her knees were on top of my forearm. I held her tightly in my arms. She would let out little snores of her breathing and it was cute.
The breeze from the trees blew at her night gown. I closed my eyes and relaxed. I couldn't help but to feel guilty. Im the reason she's like this. I let out a deep breath i was holding. I leaned my head back a little and opened my eyes. I got to get up before my mother finds out were outside. I stood up carefully with her in my arms. She snuggled her face closer to my chest and i could feel her warm breath hitting against me. I walked back inside and closed the door.
I carefully walked upstairs. I opened the door to the guest bedroom which is her room for now. I walked over to the bed and gently layed her down. She tightened her grip on my shirt not letting go. I was bending down since she wouldn't let go of my shirt. I guess I'll lay down with her until she falls asleep completely. I carefully layed down next to her and she snuggled more into my chest. I couldn't help but feel like this is how it supposed to be. Her laying in my arms where I'll be protecting her.
Where i won't let anybody hurt her. I pushed her rich brown hair out of her face and watched her sleep. The way her chest would rise and fall and little huffs of her warm breath escaped her lips. I felt my eyes get heavier. I had to get up before i fall asleep. I tried to move her but she whimpered. "Please stay"i stopped and nodded my head laying back down with her. The way she would look up at me with her ocean eyes. I couldn't resist.
I pulled the blanket over us and kissed her forehead. She looked up at me with flushed cheeks. She smiled and pressed a kiss to the right of my cheek. I can tell she was embarrassed. She hid her face into my chest. I chuckled a little and wrapped my arms around her. "Goodnight ruby"
"Night gray" she said sleepy. I think tomorrow it should just be a ruby and grayson day. And I think i know were i want to take her.
