Chapter 14- Some Alone Time

Alec's POV

I wake up before dawn the next morning. I look down at Magnus who's curled up and attached to me sleeping soundly and content. I smile and close my eyes, I run my hand along his back and slowly drift back to sleep.

I wake up a while later to Magnus cautiously trying untangle him self from me. I tighten my arms around him and pull him back towards me. "Where do you think your going? I was enjoying that. I was comfortable" I say.

I feel him shiver slightly as my lips touch his neck. He turns towards me and smiles. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you, I was just going to make breakfast for everyone. I'll bring you some you-" He says but I cut him off with a kiss. "No. You'll stay here while I cook the kids breakfast. Relax Magnus. I'll be right back" I say and get out of bed. I walk into the bathroom and get ready then I walk down to the kitchen and start making some blts for breakfast.

Max walks in first with Phoenix. "Dad! What are you doing here? Are you staying with us today?" He says as he puts Nix in his booster seat. I nod "Yes I am. I'm taking a little while off so I can spend some time with all of you. You guys like blts right?" I say and he nods "Yeah. Papa makes them for us sometimes. I'm glad your staying with us today. Can we go to the book store?" He asks sitting in his chair. I pretend to think about it as he waits patiently.

"Yeah sure. I don't see why not. Can you wake up your sisters and brother- Oh Rafael morning" I say as he walks in. Max waves his hands and a half dressed Amee and a sleeping Madzie appear.

"Max!! I'm naked!" Amee cries hiding behind me. I kneel down to help her finish puting on her cloths and she smiles. "Thanks daddy. I heard your staying with us today! Yay!!!" She says climbing on me. I hold her with one arm and finish making breakfast. Rafael walks over and takes her from me.

"Hey no fair I like when daddy does it. Put me down!!" She screams I look down at her as she starts to cry. "Amethyst I'll hold you all you like after breakfast okay? Just don't cry and eat your sandwhich. I'll be back I'm taking one to papa. Don't fight please" I say and walk out with a sandwhich and some wine for Magnus.

I enter the room to see him curled up asleep again. I walk over and put the food down. I place my hand on his face and kiss his head. "Hey sleepy head, I brought you breakfast" I say as he stirs. After a minute he sits up and looks around and then his eyes land on me. "Alec?.. Oh right your still here. Oh that looks delicious, thank you" He says softly. I grin and he rubs his eyes.
"I remember getting ready for the day after you left but when I came back to bed I fell asleep. Sorry" He says and takes a bite out of the sandwich. "I told the kids I would join them but something tells me that they'll be fine for now" I say and he nods.

"They eat fast and clean up after themselves. It's the rest of the day you have to worry about" He says and finishes his breakfast.

He magics it away and pulls me towards him. "Alec I was think of maybe having-" He starts "Another kid? Or two?" I say cutting him off and he smiles. "Yes, how'd you know?" He asks and I smile. "I've been thinking about it to... But I was worried about how you would react to the idea" I admit and he kisses my cheek. "I think it's a great idea.... Let's have a date night"He says and I look back at him.

"Date night? Magnus I would love to but who would watch the kids?" I ask and he chuckles. "I'm sure Maryse would love to. She seems quite lonely. Maybe you could call her up?" He says and I laugh. I nod and reach for my phone. I dial my mothers number and she sends me to voicemail. I look at Magnus and he shrugs.

I call her back and this time she answers. "Alec. How are you?" She says and I explain our request. She agrees quickly and I thank her. "Of course son. That's what mothers are for. Portal them over soon. I Love you son" She says "I love you to mom" I say to her and she hangs up.
