The Family of Alec and Magnus(Book 1- Completed)

Chapter 19- BabyShower Gender Reveal

*Before I move on to 5 years after the rescue and Rafaels decision I shall put Clary and Jace's baby shower and gender reveal here first. Enjoy*

*It's been 2 weeks since the rescue*

Clary's POV

I sit quietly in the car next to Jace who is driving. He holds my hand and squeezes slightly.

"Clary are you okay? You're really quiet suddenly" He says as we arrive at Magnus and Alec's Place. I shrug.

"I guess I'm just excited and nervous you know? It's our first baby. I'm sure this is normal" I say quietly as we walk up the stairs. He nods and holds my hand. We reach their door and hear arguing.

"Magnus relax!! Everything's just like Clary and Jace asked- WILL YOU PUT THAT THING DOWN ALEC?! YOU'LL BREAK IT FOR FRICKS SAKE- Max!!" Angel shouts at them from inside. We slowly enter and see the whole place decorated with a baby theme. Baby things everywhere.

Amethyst runs up to me as she spots me walking in. "Aunty Clary!! Do you like my dress?!" She asks fluffing her fluffy navy blue and white dress and fixing her matching bow. She looks adorable. "Aw sweetie you looks gorgeous. I love it" I tell and then notice she's not wearing shoes.

"Where are your shoes Amee?" I ask and she shushes me. "Don't let Aunt Angel hear you say that! She thinks she can get me to put them on by giving me candy. But Daddy and Papa said I don't have to. Babies don't always wear shoes anyways. Oh poo here she comes. See you later!!" She calls as she runs off and away from an annoyed looking Angel coming to greet us.

"Was that Amethyst I just saw rush away?  And hello you two welcome to your party" She says hugging us. We hug her back softly and laugh as she sees Max sneaking out of the kitchen with some food. We walk away from them as Amethyst appears and motions us over to the balconey.

She stands in front of something wrapped up. "Your babies gender is in there. You guys get to open it soon. People are starting to get here look down there" She says point down below us. Jace and I look and Indeed our family is arriving, Simon and a recently impregnated Isabelle with Maryse and Luke. Then Maia and Lydia.

We watch as all our other guests arrive and the party begins. Alec and Magnus find us. With A crying Phoenix. "Aw Nix What's the matter my little dumpling?" I ask him as he cries. His hands cover his face but Magnus removes them and I see a bruise on his face.

"Aw my poor little bubs. What happened?" I ask as Jace hugs Alec and Magnus. I take Phoenix from him and one arm hug them.
Pheonix starts to calm down after a few minutes of me coaxing him into telling me what happened.

"I was putting on my suit and I fell against my table next to my bed. And I fell cause of this stupid suit. Aunt Angel's making me wear it. But I'm still not wearing shoes. She can't make us do that. Daddy and Papa said we Don't have to-" He explains but gets cut off by Amethyst screaming and Running into Alecs arms.

Angel appears and very annoyed. Alec laughs.

"Aw did the mean aunty Angel try putting shoes on my precious little baby?" He coos at Amethyst. Amethyst nods and clings to him. Alec continues to laugh at Angel who glares and walks over.

"She can't go around not wearing shoes Alec. For fricks sake let me put them on Amethyst!!" She whines trying to put the shoes on Amees feet but she curls her feet up and climbs on to Alecs head.

"NOOOOOO!!!!!" She screams and Angel glares. Alec laughs and walks away from Angel as she starts to blow up.

"Come on Nix. Be a good boy-" She starts but Nix jumps out of my arms and runs away before she can finish. She screams in frustration and throws the shoes on the ground and goes off to do something else.

I look at Jace who laughs. "Let's not try and force our kid to wear shoes okay?" He says and I laugh.
"Sure. Why not? Apparently it's quite fun to let them run around barefoot around the house" I say as Magnus shakes his head.

~Time skip: Five Hours later~

After five hours of waiting Angel finally let's us open the box which contains the gender of our baby.

We wait as everyone gathers around. After everyones ready we count down from 5. "5! 4! 3! 2! 1!!!" We shout as we open the box and blue glitter flies everywhere.

As everyone cheers,  Jace hugs me. "It's a boy!!!! Yes!!!" He calls and I hug him back. I squeal as Amee and Nix basically fly over to us and hand us a box. They wsit as we open the box. As we open it and a blue 2 comes floating out of it.

The twins laugh at everyones confused expressions. It takes me a second before realizing.

"Holy crap Jace!!! We are having twins!!" I tell him as he watches me. He looks back and forth before suddenly passing out. Causing everyone to laugh. He wakes up after the twins use their magic to be able to continue.

I watch as he looks around and people beging to leave. Soon it's just us with baby gifts and our inner family.

I honestly can't believe we are having twins.

"Thank you both so much for everything today. Have a goodnight. See you guys soon" We tell Angel and Magnus who beam with happiness.

We hug everyone goodbye as we lesve and then go home. I wstch as Jace crawls into bed with me and kisses me goodnight and then our babies.

I really can't wait to meet them. I already love them so much. After a while I end up snuggled into Jace and drift off to sleep. Dreams of our family being together fade in and out of my dreams as I sleep peacefully.
